I know there is every damn chance youāre asleep by the time I send in this one (10:00-ish in my time zone, probably 3:00-ish in yours), but I have a few more things to clarify about the Keye/Black Velvet/Culpepper lore.
No. 1: Iāve been scouting through the source blog and discovered that it is MIGHTILY k1nky in more than a few respects.
To avoid obvious uncomfortableness, Culpepper will not be like this, especially not with Keye (whoās basically his child).
Is he still shirtless 99% of the time? Yeah.
Does he think heās hot? Oh, absolutely!
But itās not something that ever becomes pā¢rnograp#ic. Just to clarify.
No. 2: @the-nagakenny-archives doesnāt know Iām doing this.
They have me blocked, they canāt see it.
I donāt want anyone telling them.
Not fanfiction, Iā¦donāt think Iām comfortable calling it that now.
No. 3: TO THE ACTUALLY FUN STUFF THAT DOESNāT MAKE ME FEEL KINDA GROSS! Keye has a coworker at their pet store (itās a PetSmart; I just wanted to clarify that). Said coworker is inspired off of a friend I made at camp, who did give me permission to basically use their likeness.
The character who is Keyeās friend is named Cotton. (Sorta like ācottonmouthā, get it?) Cotton is a normal human, but theyāre intuitive enough to notice that Keyeās not totally normalā¦though, it still comes as a shock to them to realize that their friend is both a supernatural creature and a vigilante.
Cottonās fun, twitchy, weirdā¦cinnamon roll, all around.
They kind of annoy Culpepper by sheer virtue, so I guess weāll see how that goes! :D
No. 4: Last one, every good adaptation needs a theme song, so hereās ours for this crazy serpentine saga! (Because swaying and moving just works so well for the coils, yāknow?)
you were quite correct about the time stuff! but let me see what we've got
- okay, maybe that's why the blog isn't cool with minors hanging around
- i'm still cool with not telling 'em! again, you haven't planned to insult the origin blog, harass anyone or steal their ideas - you're just using it for inspiration, and that's a-okay in my eyes
- ah, the ol' coworker that just so happens to accidentally, near-perfectly represent myself. even down to the fact that they use my other preferred name. i'm still cool with it, so don't fret over that!
- lastly, music! music just rules in general
