Unironically the buffs to survivor make the whole team weaker since people who are used to their perks carrying them get to higher levels of mmr and then hit a wall of “people who are actually good at the game” so they fuck over their team and lead to more losses.

DBD needs to stop balancing to make the core “easier”. The game gets easier as you play and learn, like any good video game. It rewards you directly for learning mechanics. BHVR has made it so survivors skip the learning step and are dropped into a sea of frankly bullshit sometimes and they can no longer keep up and they have nobody to blame but themselves for taking shortcuts.

And then they buff them further since people who chose not to learn throw a hissy fit and it gets worse and worse.

Like I won’t lie and say that ST Vecna and Ghoul aren’t bullshit because of their jank ass hitboxes. But everything else in their kit is something you’d learn to play against if you didn’t skate by the learning process earlier in the game.

i wont lie, with how atrociously dead by daylight has been balanced for the past few years, it really does make me miss old dead hard.

yeah it was a get out of jail free card, but now survivors have 10 different get out of jail free cards, infinite pallets, no deadzones, longer hook timers, anticamp, basekit bt, the ability to just disappear-

like at this point if youre not trapper, even basement isnt a danger. its just a hook that takes longer to get to and cant be sabotaged.

but you wont be playing trapper since theres a total of 3 killers that are even remotely playable rn, whether it be due to lack of strength or simply being too bugged. Nothing but a (nerfed btw) Blight, (nerfed btw) Ghoul and (nerfed btw) Jason. even Nurse isnt safe since SHE'S HAD HER BLINKS BROKEN FOR LIKE 10 FUCKING UPDATES
