Outdoor Learning (Forest School)

Reception children worked independently to make a clay model.

Year 2B have been creative with clay in the forest school.

Year 1 in forest school this afternoon have found their own stick. They then used a potato peeler to make their skewers for the fire. In class we have been learning all about different foods Australians eat.

Reception children understand the importance of being safe in our fire pit in the forest school area.

Reception enjoyed our forest school this week we collected leaves and created not a rain fall but a leaf fall.

Year 2A have been out in forest school this week. We have built tee-pee's and made dream catchers.

Year 2B enjoying toasting their bagels in forest school. Every pupil found a stick from the forest school they then used a potato peeler to make a skewer.

Tuesday 13th October The Reception children this week in class have been reading The Three Little Pigs. In forest school the Reception children worked together to build the three houses that the three little pigs had built. We then all huffed and puffed to see if we could blow the houses down. Except for the brick house that the children could not blow down!

Year 3 have learnt how to safely split wood using a bill hook today

Success; all Year 3 split their wood.

Year 4 built an elf community in forest school this week. They completed their steps to success by using their imagination, cooperating with each other and creating with natural materials they could find in forest school.

Year 5 got creative on their forest school trip.
