Well it’s sorta different depending on the person, but for me:

I get really anxious in large crowds if it’s really loud and it’s people I don’t know

I constantly think people are judging me to the point sometimes It’s a real struggle to go to school

I always freak out over how conversations work 😂 but that might just be a ‘me’ thing lol

I bite my nails all the time as a distraction

I’m usually always tapping my foot

I hate doing things first, for example I can’t be the first person to order food in a restaurant, someone else has to do it first so I can do it exactly the same to not embarrass myself

Constantly feel like everyone is watching me if there’s loads of people around

Bring up any form of formal presentations in front of me and I get the strong urge to run a mile

If something bad happens and I end up having a mental breakdown, it can turn into a panic attack if I think people know what’s happening or if I think they’re watching

Panic attacks/anxiety attacks before large social events (for example there was this one time I had to do a performance with friends in front of a load of people and the headmaster ended up walking in on me having an anxiety attack...) or presentations.

Phone calls. Nope nope nope. I don’t do them. Ever. I have exactly three people I will answer the phone for when it rings.

I find it easier to do things sometimes if I’m pretending to be someone else? So for example there was this one time my friend ordered food for the wrong time and freaked out and couldn’t cancel her order so I managed to phone up and cancel it for her because I wasn’t “me”, I was “Sarah”

Yeah, that’s my experience with social anxiety. Its a little personal, but I don’t mind talking about it :)

Fucking brilliant day. Had to talk my friend out of suicide, while he carved words into his wrist over FaceTime with my other friend.

Chemistry again today, but new binders arrived! On the bright side, even if I don’t have my shit together in time for exams, at least it’ll look like I do 😂
