Having recently come back from a vacation in Italy, obviously my thoughts all went to what they would be like if they also went there:
- Ian insists on being in charge of navigation but Mickey loves shortcuts and consistently throws off Ianâs google maps route because he decides to cut down a side street
- They both become obsessed with gelato: Mickey claims the one down the street is the best while Ian swears up and down the one by the bus stop is better
- The Airbnb they booked did not mention the elevator doesnât work and that itâs on the seventh floor.
âItâs cheaper than a hotel, Mick! Plus we get the experience of living like a local.â
âWho gives a fuck about locals when thereâs no working elevator, Ian!â
The view from the balcony is worth it though.
- Theyâre addicted to good wine now, courtesy of having a bottle with dinner every night. The giggly, drunken kisses after are an added bonus.
- Mickey complains nonstop about the beach with rocks instead of sand on it
âWho the fuck thought walkinâ around on rocks would be fun?â
âPretty sure the ocean did that, Mick.â
- Mickey declares heâs in charge of navigating them on all future vacations after Ian ends up making them climb six hundred stairs to get to the room at their next destination. Ian says it great exercise. Mickey almost pushes him back down the stairs.
- The cats in town all seem to take a liking to Mickey, showing up to rub at his ankles when they go out to dinner and shocking him out of his nap when one wanders into their Airbnb and licks his foot.
- They spend the entire tour in the Vatican pointing out all the paintings they think are gay. Their tour guide is not impressed.
- Kissing each other senseless in Roman alleyways definitely makes it onto their top ten make out spots
