UP NEXT IN MARAUDERS #3: Emma spends the issue insulting some random, nameless woman for sleeping with a married man!

I also hate that I’m meant to believe that an extremely prodigious, smart woman had to rely on Sebastian Shaw for anything. She literally made Ned Buckman (the man who Shaw replaced as Black King) *turn his gun on himself* in retribution for a sentinel attack and murdered Paris Seville (who she replaced as White Queen). To this day one wonders what Shaw was required for after all and in all the retconning they’ve done for this, the least sensible is that someone who was demonstrably smarter and more powerful than Shaw in at least one way he couldn’t overcome without significant help *had* to sleep with him to come into her power when. If she *did* to sleep with him to attain power, whatever, fine, no shame in the game, but... as it stands her whole relationship with Shaw makes no sense.
