Two monstrous, shadowy hands are reaching towards her from behind. Stylized teardrops fall from her eye in a vertical line.

Panel 2 shows the small window of a bunker hatch door illuminated in a primarily dark space. Karina can be partially seen peering through the hole blankly. She is knocking on the door.

Panel 3 shows Walter Heath gazing fearfully up towards the viewer. His head lamp illuminates his cracked snow goggles and ripped snowsuit. He has various injuries, blood can be seen on his face. A bleeding anatomical heart is superimposed over his chest, it is crossed out with a large black X.

Panel 4 shows a damaged camcorder laying on the ground, still recording, the broken screen shines through a blood splatter on the cameras surface. Walter’s hand can be seen laying in a pool of blood in the corner of the screen.

Panel 5 shows Graham Casner resisting being pulled underwater by something with large black claws. He has an ice axe dug into the ground with one hand, the other hands fingers dig in as well. Rosa De La Torre is grabbing one of his arms with both hands as she struggles to pull him back towards her. Graham’s fallen headlamp and two large chemical lights illuminate the scene.

Panel 6 shows a closeup of Graham underwater, surrounded by bubbles, being pulled deeper as he gasps for air. The bottom half of his face is visible, he grabs on to one of his attacker’s claws. Blood spreads softly through the water.

Panel 7 shows Rosa wearily investigating many mysterious and glowing glyphs on a wall. The silhouette of an ominous figure can be seen in the foreground, standing behind her.

Panel 8 shows a door closing in the wall, glyphs glowing, as Rosa is pulled through, half of her face visible as she cries out, her hand outstretched. Inhuman fingers can be seen closing the door.

Panel 9 shows Jónas Þórirsson resting weakly against a dark wall. One eye closed, left hand gripping the fabric on his knee tightly, he looks in disgust at his right hand, which now has long and inhuman fingers, his sleeve bloody. The fingers cast shadows on his face. Bright, stylized tears fall down from both eyes.
