As my resting heart rate drops, I start craving stimulants. Probably due to correlated drop on cortisol, so this helps to explain nicotine and caffeine cravings

Part of it is due to Cortisol being the "Wake Up" hormone, and people with daytime circadian rhythms get this in the morning. People with night shift rhythms don't and sometimes get diagnosed with ADHD for it

So that drop in Cortisol is probably a good thing

But; it can cause extreme negative thinking while it happens

This is probably due to the body thinking it's loosing blood or heart stopped or something similar

I'm writing this observation out to give some perspective to people with depressive disorders, perhaps they're related, perhaps it'll help somebody who goes through an inordinate amount of stress one day and goes home to a safe environment and cries all day and thinks about [something] to understand that it's not the negative thoughts you're thinking, but recovery causing you to ruminate

You might also have a lot of negative thoughts when in pain and super stressed also, but I assume they'd be more angry instead of depressed

It might also be a drop in blood sugar, so you might wind up drinking a can of soda without realizing it, just your body reaching for it and chugging it before you have a chance to realize that's what you're doing

I don't know where that particular behavior comes from, but it happens, and or can override even the most disciplined mind

A child will then do something brilliant a parent can't explain, or might even take credit for; either "good genetics" or "good parenting" or whatever, and then the child will do something incredibly stupid, because they are a child

And then the parents will blame the child for being a child

And you might be wondering why; and it's because, usually, the parent can't tell if the child is taking advantage of them in some way. Because of the assumption of intentionality behind the demonstration of intelligence, they also assume the childish behavior part is intentional

"YOU DEFINITELY KNOW BETTER, I'VE SEEN YOU DO CALCULUS ON THE BACK OF A CEREAL BOX AND YOU CANT FINISH YOUR GEOMETRY HOMEWORK‽"

Sometimes, accidental intelligence happens; the child doesn't understand what that means except they're getting praise for doing some menial task they accidentally picked up from some PBS show

Many parents start to develop inferiority complexes due to this, feeling like an inadequate parent because they can't keep up in some ways, and then assume the child already knows something they don't

And for the child; they are probably making decisions that are both for the benefit of the family in a way that is unconventional , but also, childish

"I don't do my Homework because Dad promised me money for every grade higher than a C that I get, and both of you can't afford that promise"

People think gifts are freely given, and never think of a gift as something refused

So what happens is Genius Kids develop socially awkward because they can't really understand people around them, they accidentally make things awkward, or trigger that Inferiority complex, or just... Do things your average person would have time to develop normal etiquette around through typical parenting and discipline

So the etiquette they do learn is impolite, it's brash, it's oftentimes the wrong way to go about things; and internal development starts sliding more and more away from social interactions because social interactions ALWAYS feel bad

You give someone a birthday gift they didn't just refuse, they threatened you over

You cook breakfast for someone, something you're just learning how to do: "WHY ISNT THIS 100% PERFECT THE WAY I WOULD'VE MADE IT? FUCK YOUR TRASH FOOD"

you make someone handcrafted holiday or birthday card; and they treat like any other Hallmark card "oh thats nice" forget that you ever gave them anything after throwing it in the trash

And the real problem comes from the amount of memories an intelligent child already has that everyone else assumes they've forgotten in their developmental stages already

And that kind of trauma isn't always intentional; but it builds up

So the child has to learn how to forgive and forget at a really young age when they're trying to teach a child to have object permanence

Those become part of the behaviors they learn, and often can't correct for at later stages because they never quite learned how to deal with society in a social level that isn't [Scary] and [Traumatizing]

It makes it incredibly hard to cope with other people who you're constantly thinking about "Great, Exactly how is this guy going to take advantage of me, and I can't really defend myself here" before just small social interactions like a handshake, or other such greeting

That becomes part of the normal mode living, and nobody else can understand what you do, why or when you did them

And because the [shitty teenager] doesn't really have the mental framework they should have; they have a very low capacity to understand average interactions with average people

But you do remember every mean trick they've played on you and every story they then told afterwards to avoid blame

And every mistake you have ever made in your life that triggered a set of events that were unfavorable to everyone involved; especially which ones that were agreed, by the adults, to be mutually beneficial and didn't turn out that way

Computers call "Processing" is what I've defined as "PseudoProcessing" they can follow the instructions as if by reading as a child, Sounding out Letters to form a word and then coming out with the conclusion. Computers have Macros and are Automatic, but they don't have [AutomaticProcessing]

<aside>you can argue that what I'm calling Automatic is just an imperceptibly sped up processing, but what I'm describing is the difference between sounding out a word and knowing what that word says, to understanding that word from the [word]'s point of view and not needing to construct or deconstruct it.

Memes and Symbology are probably part of this to some degree, but a computer can't do that AFAIK without needing to deconstruct a symbol and then manually reconstruct the symbol, then reference tablature data faster than human can open a 10000 page encyclopedia and reference it themselves

Which has changed how humans can even understand referenced media and encyclopedic knowledge</aside>

If we were to test a process exactly. Suppose we have process ∠AB, then we can test that process, or that students ability to do that exact process

We can also test a students ability to arrive at an answer derived from fn(A,B) which is identical to process ∠AB

But what if a student has determined ∠C with identical derivation fn(C) that is obviously not the process they were instructed with?

That shortcut ∠C would then be indistinguishable from cheating based on all known facts and data at our disposal

Students could have memorized an Alminac with the answers, and therefore didn't learn how to process properly. Which you're not even supposed to memorize if you were to just memorize the process and turn it into an Automatic behavior

<aside>If I lived in world that taught how I learned, that's what they would say instead of "WHY DONT YOU HAVE YOUR TIMES TABLES MEMORIZED?"</aside>

Now here's the trick; How do we determine if ∠C is cheating somehow or is actually a better process?

Maybe they have a faster wristwatch calculator than you, which would be the only conclusion one could make if you were IN-FACT already cheating to begin with?

even still, what if that Student had inventive knowledge that was better than anybody could test or deal with; but all the students around them *somehow* learned a better process than every other [school district]

And then those students, despite picking up those Innovations and turning them into tablature processes; all graduated on to bigger and better things, but that Ingenius student could not?

By the measure, they could test poorly because they're being tested on process ∠AB, but ∠AB for the answer they're requesting is the inferior process ∠C

In Martial Arts, and Occam's Razor both; there shouldn't be any wasted movements unless necessary

There's no need to learn the incorrect process and incorporate [Data Corruption] into your [Brain/Learning Model] because that introduces redundancy and bad habits

Somebody with high [Inventiveness] like that would instead notice the added burden of introducing bad habits and maybe like to keep [Tabulations] from interfering with [Process Improvement]

Using the Tabulations as a reference in order to improve one's own Processing, but not memorizing them as perfect 100% honest-to-god truth

But what would have happened to them in the interim, is that they would not be allowed even the possibility of graduating on to bigger and better things promised to the [try-hards] of this world, because of this world's flawed education system

They would not mesh well with the education system at all, because it's only PhDs and Dead-Philosophers who even have the hope! To improve the process to some degree

At the begining, Wonka says you can try anything in this garden, we can assume that all the candy in all the factory is here in display for all to try, and would be cleaned up afterwards

This wasn't a test, He had hot chocolate tea cups that looked as tho they grew out of the ground, and Gloop dove into the river instead of trying one of those cups first

Why? Every kid did something they were not supposed to do intentionally. We can assume that it's probably because of greed, not of the kids and poor parenting, but because the parents encouraged each kid to make a scene

Every step of the way, Wonka has created some OSHA violation for those intelligent people to use against him, and instead they wanted the big ticket item instead. They wanted to sue Wonka for all he's worth instead of some paltry OSHA or Food Safety violation

So when Charlie and his grandfather are distracted by the Soda Pops; Wonka assumes it's more of the same. They reached for the dangerous thing *because* it was the thing they were not allowed to have, and probably despite a safer version existing in the Garden in the beginning

Wonka knew everything was there, his guests did not, so distractions are one thing

Charlie knew that Slugworth probably wasn't going to pay out because he was a bullied street urchin and his grandfather was either too trusting, or just too easy

The crux of the film, the ending, Where Charlie gives back the Gobstopper (a trap that no other kid tried on the spot, and probably kept as an insurance policy) it wasn't "I'm giving up a million dollars"

He was poor, his family was poor, he was keeping it as a souvenir to bring home to them

So when he places his Gobstopper on the table, what he's actually saying in this; "You suck, you're rotten just like the rest of them Wonka. And I wouldn't bring this back into my house if *you* personally paid me a million dollars"

It was an Uno reverse card played when Wonka basically told him what he thought of him

Imagine taking a bribe on behalf of God, what kind of person does that make you?

You might be saying "We all need to eat and sleep and drink and have a roof above our heads"

Jesus Christ and Paul had none of that and still preached. What they took for themselves was only that which was returned to the people who needed it

Teaching people how to plant Mustard Seeds so that they grow into big leafs to eat, while teaching another lesson to those who already knew how to grow food.

Teaching people how to use two loaves and two fish to feed a nation, while also teaching about "Leavening" in social and political and spiritual dynamics

We sometimes get that these days in social programs and homeless food distribution programs, and instead of teaching people that need a lesson as if teaching a child; they expect those people to learn like they've already learned those lessons entirely

Christ had told his disciples something along the lines of "What I'm teaching to you falls on deaf ears for those who have yet to learn the basics"

And you know how people IRL treat others like that? Exactly like a [Toxic Gamer] "teaches" a newbie. [Git Gud Scrub] can be used as a joke amongst friends who knew they are joking, but when a [Newbie or an Outsider] hears it, it becomes a weapon both in your hands and in theirs

And Paul made note of the rise of Megachurches; those who learned that there was profit to be made in preaching the gospel, some used it for a Better purpose than others and some instead discriminated against those "Who can't learn"

When Jesus demonstrated to everyone how to teach those exact people who have been exiled from community and Society

Jesus' first words of Gospel was "We don't need a building to have church/mass" and took his congregation to a field away from the churches of that day to demonstrate it

And in his last steps, while wracked in misery and guilt and feeling like God the Father, His Father of Faith had misled them, created a few steps that made others think "Look at him, letting his followers waste these valuables on *him* instead of telling them to sell it for themselves so that they can build themselves up better"

What then is my reward for that which falls on deaf ears?

Maybe tomorrow a new church will be built to take advantage of people in the same way, and that is not reward for me, nor for community

It's been said that Man cannot live on Bread alone, unless it's the bread of faith

If you come from a world of nothing into a land of plenty, it's quite easy for the one guy who knows what everyone else knows to tell you that they built it all thenselves

They funded their own development and purchased technology other people invented and said "I built this all with my own two hands" mathematicially, geometrical, chemically, electricity

But also "I took a plane" "I flew passenger on a plane" "I flew the plane"

Grammatical correctness in one language is not exactly the same in most other languages

And those grammatic structures can change an interpretation from Literal into Fantastical

And then I think about a Laundry Mat with sliding doors and Taggart having to her own laundry and comparing it to being the servant class and doing everyone's own laundry like a woman should to the man she is limerently chasing

Each piece on its own can be factually true, but if you arrange them in such a way; does it tell the surface story that the author was actually writing; or was she writing a story that requires more nuance to understand and your average Libertarian Randian Chaser doesn't think about or even know?

And which parts were literal and which parts were figurative based on the use of known double-entendre that she inserted as wordplay; and which of that wouldn't be obvious to the average reader

And which parts would be Intuited by a person who knew less than they'd like to admit?

It's why Bioshock 1 was such a great companion piece to Atlas Shrugged (Libertarians hated it because they felt it warped Rand's Holy texts)

One of my friends had a crush on me at one point because I looked similar to Ayn, Youre supposed to find people ugly that share similar genetics to yourself and/or could be your grandmother (by Genetic Origin)

People don't understand that nuance of calling your Sisters and Brothers and parents "Ugly" and Incest is a real turn off for me

That's why I dislike Freude's interpretation of reality by the way

People without a consideration for that don't understand beauty in the same way, So they complain a lot about how ugly they must be that their *own brother* wouldn't want [Fuck All] from them

Something that I understand about society that society rarely understands about me; it's a really [common sense] hurdle

But that plot hole sticks in my mind because nobody talks about that, they only limerently chase the Messianic Character for his Honeyed Words

And aren't really considering the text as a whole or the authors original intent compared to their own understanding

My stiff neck has recessed into my upper back, with a knot of dead tissue and cartilage build up slowly working itself out. I do back workouts and walk a lot when I can

Because my resting heart rate is between 90 and 120 bpm, I mostly use the gym treadmills to do an hours long walk at a set pace with my heart rate between 90 and 120

My elevated heart rate is definitely from the pain that is localized in that shoulder and on my lower back.

My digestive tract has been in a steady recovery, and that recent cyclospora outbreak, while resulting in some awful diarrhea (I don't know if it's cyclospora or HRT causing cramping, or just my muscles in that area) has revealed a lot of muscles, back muscles, bowel muscles, all are working better than they had in years

I'm fairly certain that chronic NSAID and Tylenol use (maximum daily recommended dosage without doctors recommendation to exceed that) turns off all the muscles down there after a few years of regular usage, and it basically takes years to undo the damage that the painkillers cause in order for the body to actually repair the damaged muscles tissues

My Hips feel like they're on fire sometimes when I'm laying down and resting, or move wrong when I'm walking around..the feeling isn't different from my Neck a couple months ago which went away after just powering through jt

Both of my shoulders feel like they were out of place, the same feeling that a doctor would diagnose as "Hip Impingement" where it's just kind stuck and pain until it pops back into place and relieves that pain

I haven't had the hip impingement pain for 3 months now... Which is improvement for sure

My right shoulder has recently set itself properly while my left is still kinda wonky and I can't raise it about my head or do certain workouts with it, so I focus on back muscles and pulling exercises (and would do Monkey Bar Hangs if I could find the equipment that I didn't have to jump up to reach)

My hips and lower back are in an excessive amount of pain, so I'm just going to power through that

I use Nootropics on a regular basis along with Nitric Oxide Supplements and Ghost Energy Drinks which helps stimulate the muscles in that area and helps them relax and release whatever paralysis is going on there, along with a lot of Milk, Meat, and trying to reduce overall carbohydrates (not to 0, but to a minimal amount) sometimes I just eat Little Ceasers Crazy Puffs for lunch and avoid added sugars (but sometimes Nesquick Protein drinks off the dairy shelf)

What used to be a huge awful Knot of awful in my right shoulder has slowly worked its way out, recently it's just... Sharp stabbing pains and neck adjustments (turning head left and right, sometimes with force but never exceeding 90°) that sounds awful to the casual listener but feels great with every micro adjustment putting things into proper place and breaking out the damaged tissue holding things incorrectly

I have another in my lower back that will probably need to go next

In my neck what happens is I do a minute adjustment (iykyk) it gets inflamed from the damage (or recognition of damage) and then the inflammation heals and I make another adjustment

you can't adjust it until the inflammation goes down so sometimes it's just and awful pain for hours on end. Nootropics usually help and I have some theories that it stimulates the cellular repair stuff, do to the Nootropics stimulating all the damaged muscles everywhere, but I can't really back that up with evidence except this first hand experience

Spironolactone helps *somehow* other than for the Gender Dysphoria stuff. Probably by reducing overall heart rate and inflammatory response a little. But then my legs and arms fall asleep easier

And I dunno if that's the Spironolactone itself, or if my body is just overcompensating without it (I use 25mg instead of the prescribed 100mg because it's vertigo otherwise. Gender Dysphoria makes me want to complete the whole prescription, but since I have the testosterone, I might as well use it to aid in recovery)

My spine pops and cracks from routine stretches, but it always seems like a different place

I really wish I had access to one of those school desks with a welded chair attached, because those are the only thing I've know that you can really use to force your back to stretch along your spine (especially during "Growing Pain" issues )

In short, Hip Impingement is mostly absent, a shoulder Impingement has released itself, my neck pain is down, but the shoulder pain (in the crux of the neck and shoulder) is up but receding with every adjustment.

I can feel my digestive system working in a way it wasn't before, and my lower back and hip muscles are on fire and I worry I'm going to die from dehydration because it feels like kidneys

I have more days where I'm able to get up and about instead of tired from all the things my body would be recovering from (including some of the flu COVID lettuce variety)

I'm pretty sure it's mostly due to inflammation in the Neck that really causes the exhaustion, you know, due to its proximity to the nerves and brain and what not

I had a lot of increased water intake (2 bottles of water plus other liquids) which I was not peeing out until the other day when it seemed like I couldn't stop peeing

I dunno what that's about

Things feel like they're going in a good direction, I want to be able to focus on more than this stupid phone and doom scrolling through nothing

The other thing that sucks is the desire to go outside and rant about whatever idea that gets pulled from whatever the pain of the day is, so I'm quite certain some passerbys think I'm probably a lunatic

People get extra Edgy when they know they're being held back for somebody else, sometimes that's because they had their privileges checked, sometimes it's because they live in an environment that's too close to the border and the *other* racist Edgelords are being extra edgy

The *other* racists are the ones with more power than you in a certain set of circumstances; Maybe they're [Black Ron Swanson] from [Canceled Parks and Rec] and they're doing it because they're supporting their own [political ideology] of "Smaller Government" which is closer or "Whichever work I'm paid to do that I don't have to do" (Black Ron Swanson is the same White Ron Swanson. If you think otherwise, that makes you racist)

You notice these types, when they have a job, they don't really criticize the freebies they get while still criticizing government expenditures. Education is a big one. They will criticize how the college education system is busted and how the degrees don't really mean anything except that you tithed to the [God of College Degree] in the hopes for a Better Job or Recognition of Achoevement

They will also criticize government waste

But Lordy; When they have a government job offering them free education; That shit is mandatory that they spend those government dollars for a [Worthless Degree] in the hopes that'll be what gets them a promotion this year

Morals don't mean a thing if you're so distracted by freebies. Like they claim is how Liberal act. And God forbid you say that out loud to them while demonstrating skill superior to their own; YOU DONT HAVE THE OFFICIAL BLESSED HOLY CERTIFICATE OF IVY!

And then they'll go to church (not Ron Swanson, Ron Swanson doesn't go to church in the show) And talk about Idolatry and how it's bad.

That sounds like I've gone far off topic, and that's the point, it's why the argument surrounding "DEI" is hard to explain easily and without sounding racist

So which people are being kept from furthering their own development?

Well, the Minorities (and legal citizens mind you) AND the poor white people both seem to be kept out of the programs that do anything other than keep them in place

So the minorites rightfully claim "Discrimination" while the Minority Whites also claim "Discrimination" but one of those *can't* be right, one looks closer related to some rich family that used to own slaves

Then you start to realize that some of the [African Americans] talking about discrimination at the hands of White people are more [African] and less [American]

Which is why Obama gets so much hate for being sources from Kenya

And then we must ask, where are the Government Programs intended to help our citizens going? Especially in regards to education?

Now here's where it gets fuzzy; I'm going to make some claims I can't prove, but it's going to be a ballpark approximation of what's actually happening and how systems are *maybe* fudging the numbers

Because one of the bigger controversies was when Asian Students were being "Discriminated" in certain programs despite making up half of the educational body in the U.S. (and quotas being illegal)

And those arguments were funded by Asian parents non-local to the U.S.

Another large argument was actually made that certain funding programs went to Immigrants who happened to be of a certain complexion, and not instead to a citizen. For whatever reason.

A Large Argument was about Alumni and Rich parents paying for a college to push other students out of the way for them (or using favors)

And most arguments were mostly about the lack of rigor and ability to grade and support students by work ethic and merit and ability

Meaning some Teachers were even grading students harshly for their own reasons (some systemic discrimination, some not)

And the conclusion was ultimately, that the programs weren't exactly helping the Nation, minority or not, fund and promote their Best

Currently, about 15,000 scientists have been convinced to leave the U.S. towards [Chinese Communist Party] and [Other countries] Interests, and in the last year or so, 10 scientists have been [Killed of Natural Causes] or [Just Disappeared] like [Tony Stark in Iron Man 1] to [Make Iron Man Suits in a cave somewhere](probably)

So the question we have to ask, is how does that *all* tie together?

Is AI that powerful a tool? Space Exploration? Do ppl just want more Nukes despite every country already having scientists that already knows how to make them? Or are they just really hoping to find some kind of edge against an opposing military force for [WW Reasons]?

Well, when I think about it that way; it puts me at ease that certain officials who didn't really get their positions through [merit alone] were targeted.

It's a silly joke that China has more intelligent people in their [Underground Video Game Gold Mining Operations] than they do in positions of authority if they made decisions such as those and aren't aware of the global ramifications that nobody puts their best in those positions

It's not a joke that the gamers are the intelligent ppl, it's just facts; Intelligent people get bullied and policed by people who think about [Politicking] before merit and study. That's the simple fact that's been truth since the world was created

That's why the College Degrees are garbage, and it's why despite making the same technology globally; ppl are worried more about stealing innovation instead of just having one of those misused intelligent shut-ins (paying them properly) and having a merit based system; would have already had made the thing for you

The world's resources and "Smartest Minds" are currently wrapped up in Crypto and AI asking the question "BUT WHAT CAN IT DO?" like they are completely confused by the tech they created

That's the modern era for you; all of that wealth and ability; and every single country across the globe decided it was best to flush it down the toilet than to just let one of the Meek Intelligent Little Guys do anything with themselves

People are wrapped up in money and toxic masculinity, instead of R&D. Usually because the people that make it to R&D got there through the aforementioned Systems of DEI and power games

Where the degrees aren't worth the paper they're printed on, and nobody wants to admit it because it makes them feel special; so they do [Spy Tactics] instead

Moses disappeared for a while up the mountain, talking with God, and Aaron manufactured and Idol they describe as a "Golden Calf" that all the people worship

And we're stuck in this mindset of this literal golden statue that people were worshipping instead of God... But what was actually happening?

The priests got to get tithes whenever somebody sinned, it's written in the book; you sin, bring a tithe, and then I forgive you

So what was Aaron doing?

He was applying the "Laws" where he could get his people to tithe, and give up their wealth, for himself

The Golden Calf is the imagery that is supposed to represent this concept. The discriminate application of the law were it is more valuable to oneself, who is in charge of administering that law

And when Moses came back down he blamed the people for worshipping the Calf, but not Aaron, instead he went to God and asked him to forgive his people

This is the parallel we don't illustrate well when it comes to Jesus, hung on a cross for the exact same Idol; "Forgive them, for they know not what they do"

Moses might have been incorrect, but we should ask "Was Jesus also?"

Moses fixed his law system to be the simple ten commandments he originally started with, easier to memorize, understand and apply; but as laws get more complex, we see the Golden Calf emerge

People who use the system of law for profit against the undeserving

Throughout the series you'll see two competing ideas; 1 House is an unparalleled Genius who can solve just about any medical mystery; as long as Medical Science doesn't say "it can't be solved"

He is a person looking for a puzzle to solve, and is uninterested in puzzles that have already been solved. And yet, in most episodes, he doesn't ever solve any puzzle

Especially ones he should be able to resolve, such as his own musculature pain problems, there's plenty he could have done, and just accepts the diagnosis given to him *despite* being lauded as one of the top Diagnosticians on TV

We as the audience accept it, because we are not doctors, we are usually not [Medical Diagnosticians] and we usually have a certain level of animosity for most Doctors due to the kinds of shenanigans House pulls despite our thinking "This guy is a different kind of doctor I've never personally met"

In each episode you'll find the same path logical corruption

1) Identify a Problem that might be Novel (disregard non novel problems despite staffing and funding shortages for the other doctors we don't have and can't fund)

2) come up with a few interesting hypotheses starting at the conclusion, and discarding ideas that are less probable than others

Here is the first stage of logical corruption, they have symptoms, formulate a conclusion and then support or refute that conclusion

In other fields, what we do, is take the problem and cut it in half, point at where the flaw is, and break it down by 50% and focus on the where the problem is instead of where it isn't

In electrical work it works like this; we have a power source, a length of wire or multiplex boxes, and a light bulb, the light bulb doesn't turn on, so because it's a lightbulb we test it, then we check if the light switches are on in the right configuration, and then start at the middle of all that wire mess to see if there's power. Unless there's something obvious like a fire that was started near electrical wires

In Medical science, the body isn't as well understood as a piece of equipment we designed ourselves, so Medical Science tends to start at known and documented cases and start at the potential diagnosis, instead of breaking the problem into halfs

You'll note this is the problem identified in the show itself, despite being a world renown diagnostician and wanting novel problems, House only stays in the world of the known trying to support the documentation instead of helping the patient first

3) Find a cure for the symptoms

House will then issue a battery of tests, and administer a few drugs, sometimes as part of further testing, sometimes to solve an immediate symptom if not the whole medical issue

Then he finds an adequate solution that clears up the symptoms. Even if they're symptoms that only exist in his own mind

He gets away with it because he's assumed to have super powers and a well trained eye for these things; but if nobody else is on your level, then all you have is trust and an inability to refute that trust if it is clearly (and legally) supported

The reason he's able to continue operating and being a Doctor is the same reason the Audience wants to keep watching the show; he's extraordinarily smart, and would probably be a good Diagnostician, if he kept following up on his dailies, doing rounds, interacting with patients, learning more about the basics of his field--The stuff he thinks he graduated well past and is paid too much to do while he searches for cases "worth his time"

And while every other doctor notes these issues with Him, they also know that he's incredibly book-smart and good at solving puzzles; Except when his Oncologist friend Wilson (get it? On call gist-friend?) solves those puzzles for him. Which are often illustrated in the show as Wilson saying something that makes something click into place for House (and thus taking the credit for himself because Wilson is "Just a cancer guy")

And it's this disparity in experience and knowledge between "Guys that get paid the big bucks" and "Every other doctor who actually does work" that we actually see reflected in real life

Most of those [Insert Job Title Here] do this to some degree once they pass some arbitrary goal post where they can say "I'm too good to have to dailies for minimal experience" and then they don't even download Surgeon Simulator or Diagnostics puzzles off of Steam for *some* kind of refresher training

"I'm too good to get my hands dirty with that stuff, he's already dead"

Setting out on a venture is as much of a gamble as staying home where it's safe; the brother who stayed home did not experience the gamble because it was a winning bet

The other assumption that we make is that half the farm was sold, so only half remains and they didn't grow back over the years. Which wouldn't be the case if the farm (business) was properly run and maintained

But it is the son who stayed's decision now, and technically, the father is the thief wasting resources on the Prodigal Son (who failed and spent everything he had on Blackjack and Hookers and that's why he couldn't get anywhere in life)

Consider the original 1980s home console market, Notably; Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Master System, their next generation counterparts and The original Game Boy

Many games from that era are much better than anything we had seen in the Arcade or on Home Console till that point, but for the most part, they were mostly [Tech Demos] that pushed hardware limits to their maximum, and much of sales focused around the lore they were able to weave outside the game through promotional material and artwork

For many players this opened up their imagination and became part of the world of the game they were playing

And, as part of the culture of success; the common phrase "Be aware of your limitations" became common practice

So developers created a narrow box based on the successful titles being the absolute limitations of the hardware

PC Gaming had mostly the same path, but with 3D environments, so many players of the era who had a PC would wonder why anyone bothered with inferior [consoles] at all

Despite many of the games on those consoles being works of art, or pushed boundaries in a different way than many PC devs would

Eventually the gaps between PC and Console narrowed, but those boundaries stopped expanding *except* to push the limits of the graphics cards

There was a rough patch where inferior ports to other consoles were used to prove the new tech was upgraded, but whatever

That culture remains, and nowadays, the limitations of game design are about 3 decades old. We're still playing the same games today as we did then only with, arguably, better graphics (depending on the console or graphics card)

And even with the best PC hardware, maximum settings can throttle your system because of poor optimization or Windows and Chrome hogging. Background Resources

For indie devs fresh out of high school, making a game in the style of your favorite [Retro Title] is expected. It's how you learn the basics about software development, how graphics works, the limitations of whatever development kit you're using and criticism from the audience who can't seem to get your game to work on their hardware

For a Triple-A studio tho?

That's whom we expect to push the limits of the hardware in ways that developers used to do on console games

Old triple-A titles would copy their favorite [B Movies] and masquerade as little [B Studio][Development Teams], the titles that we would grade [Triple-A] if we graded them today as we did then

Today, they have triple-A status and make [B Games], if they were graded based on the innovations those same studios made which put them where they are today

Even if you're only developing on [Nintendo Switch] with it's [Inferior Hardware] you'll see the same things, the games are great, but do they push the hardware like the original Nintendo Titles did?

Even comparing the Switch to the best selling Original Gameboy Titles, you can see that they don't really do that

Something about "Handheld Markets" allowed developers to assume that every handheld title made would be closer to a [Spin off] than an *actual* mainline game

And that has infected Nintendo Switch to a large extent.

And Mobile Games have it much worse; they're treated as the [Grocery Store Gatchas] where the point is to make a quick sale and assume the users is going to delete it anyway

but if they don't, you can spend $100 on a super spin and maybe get a few S-Rank items; of which you either need to grind a bunch to be able to clear a level with max rewards (which they probably argue is skill vs pay for cheats) or Do a gatcha pull and have no grinding and no skill at all in what would otherwise have been a well designed skill-based system, before gatcha was implemented

And veteran players who grew up in that era, even if they have their favorite titles, can easily see that many developers are relying more on graphics teams and actors and mocap than they are on programmers to make the games

And every style of game is more or less the same as what had been developed for the generation of games released in the second wave of 3D consoles

You argue that certain titles are focused on longevity instead of replayability. Meaning they're meant for you to keep playing and never experience the story from the beginning after you start playing, so many titles barely have a story at all

Many development teams have stopped pushing the limitations of the technology, except to maximize the amount of memory needed to play a game

Some studios do push boundaries on what is expected of a game, titles like Kojima Studios DeathStranding, but even then, the software side is fairly lacking

You can tell they're relying on the engine to do what it does, and then adding a few scripts for any "Novel Idea" which is... Exactly what the tech used to do, but more can be shown on the screen than before

And you can get away with this, because if you're focused on Newbies or a bunch of players that are only buying the new title, then you don't have to compete with History

You only have to make sure they don't dislike the game

But it bothers me, specifically, because it means there's no room for actual indie studios making B and C title games, unless they're AI Shovelware (you don't need to be, or use, AI to make AI Shovelware either. It's an old industry term that we used to call "Computer Generated Trash" before the modern era due to many people using technical innovation lazily expecting maximum reward)

And if one of those indie devs makes something that is highly technical in nature, they will find themselves quietly pushed out of the market, or maybe hired to a lowbie position and their skills mismanaged

Which means there isn't a whole lot of room for technical growth despite the tech outpacing the quality of the product

No room to "Rock the Boat" as it were

And I have this supercomputer I'm using to type stuff into social media and the only games I'm allowed to download without turning off the security features and going [Unrated Websites] are the same games you'd be playing on the original Gameboy.

Part of that is the way people still use [Gay] or [F Slur] or [N Slur] to get under people's skin, quite literally because people are easily offended. Especially people that claim that [Super Straight]/[MAGA Republican] side for some reason

And it's in this *particular* regard we must worry about people who are suffering from the consequences of being raised inappropriately, school trauma, religious trauma, whatever trauma. I would include "Grooming" here if that wasn't also an assumption placed on people who don't deserve it, because they usually left those kind of environments *intentionally* and are blamed for having left *also*

What those therapists are doing, which they don't believe they are doing, Is to help people express themselves naturally without societal (or any) expectations of who they *should* be

But flavored with the idea that they should be expected to be straight people who want to reproduce

Animals want f* but animals also want to reproduce

So a Gay person who doesn't like fuck, might want to get past that as a detriment; and that's where you start forgetting that GnC people exist

"I don't wanna be a Trans, I want to express my sexuality the way everyone else with [a pp] does!"

And you start to see the dilemma with [Conversion Therapy]

It would be like if all these [Trans Women] started forcing [Lesbians] into [heterosexual] relationships. It's not really my priority to force anyone to be attracted to myself

Or like... If there was a disparity between male and female in the country, so all those [Straight Men] forced [Trans Women] and [Gay Men] to be [Their Wives] because they couldn't find a "Real Woman"

That's supposed to be on God (And whomever wants a consensual relationship)
