Disgruntled gurgling
While not telling it explicitly ā but just because nobody asks, because otherwise heās the sort of person capable of talking about how great someone is for hours ā Philip nourishes a deep affection and respect for Lisa; sheās easily one of his best friends, and he really appreciates spending time with her. Seemingly always in a good mood and prone to laughter, visiting the hag never fails to put a smile on his face, even in the gloomiest of days. Sure, the cannibalism part was⦠offputting at first, but one gets used to it.Ā
Sheās a very powerful witch, and hexes are not the only thing sheās capable of casting, but the Entity put a pretty strong limit to what she can do during trials ā to much her chagrin.

F3 Lisa please!
[[What better way to get in the holidays than to make artwork that has nothing to do with them whatsoever??? Hereās a very lazy recreation of one of those draw-your-squad memes featuring the three true main characters of Dead by Daylight; LISA āHAGGIN IT UPā SHERWOOD, ANNA āTHE MOMINATORā and SALLY āTAKE YOUR BREATH AWAYā SMITHSON]]

The bulky killer watched the other rush off to find a utensil, then come back and begin writing in the dirt. As he clutched at his throat, Evan quickly understood that the Entity had taken Philipās voice. He sighed and leaned forward slightly, reading the word over and over again. It was Evanās first time seeing someone who wasnāt one of his victims, seeing someone write something, in a long time. āPhilip.ā His gaze flitted up to the other, and for a long while, he just watched him.
Then, he realized that he was being asked a question. His⦠name. What⦠What was his name again? A panic settled in Evanās gut as he realized just how much of himself heād lost here. What had he been before this? Right, his father⦠Archie had been his name. ā⦠Evan. Evan Macmillan.ā A shaky breath drew itself from his form. āSo, youāre new here? Have you been in a trial yet?ā
He made an attempt to smile, bringing his hand out to shake Evansā with a nod. When asked about trials Philip took a hesitant breath and nodded. Then covered his face. Dragging his hands down, not that he could move his now-stiff face much. The gesture still made sense though. It still brought exhaustion and displeasure to mind. He took a deep breath and let out a garbled sigh.Ā
Looking up to a now lit fire in the distance. He gave a look of panic at it but in the moment he didnāt want any more pain, jumping straight to his feet he huffed, cloaked and went into the trial. The trial was nothing close to easy. He scared the survivors at first, but they quickly decided to assault him with their lights. As well as run him around pallets. He was good at finding people, but not chasing them down.
Returning from trial Philip wandered to where heād last seen Evan, falling against a tree and sliding himself down it. Allowing his cloak to fall over his face, he whimpered not noticing the other. He shook his head and the cloak off with it jolting a bit in surprise seeing Evan in front of him now.

Evan had just gotten back from a trial; he looked ragged and tired, irritable and hurt. For a long time, heād been the only one at the campfire, so when he saw a new being stand up and turn to face him with a nigh defensive posture, the trapper had to give himself pause for a moment. He stood completely still, cleaver clutched tightly at his side, even in spite of the horrid throbbing around the newest hook in his right shoulder.
When he saw that this new killer looked more ready to run and hide than to fight him, Evan allowed himself to relax, and not much for conversation after being alone for so long, push past the other to find somewhere far away from the fire to rest. About the only greeting he gave was a rough grunt, and then he went to sit against a tree.
Phil let out a whine of fear as the other pushed past, tensing up as his mostly burnt skin was rubbed against. The grunt met his ears and he paused. Did he not mean any harm? Now Phil was curious. What a dangerous thing to be.
The ghost let himself vanish as he lingered around. He didnāt know his now garbled breathing was quite well heard as he kept his distance. He was far too shy to reveal himself unless pointed out.Ā
Once pointed out Philip let out a gasp-like squeak attempting to uncloak silently. His attempts at speaking came out mostly wordless as his vocal-cords were mostly gone. He waved timidly to the other, not knowing how else to greet them without a voice.
Evan had observed the other killer as he disappeared from view, watched as the barely-visible form moved about. He sighed, turned his head skyward. āSo, I get traps, and he gets invisibility? Thatās nice.ā Perhaps heād been given traps rather than an actual power because he was fast enough, strong enough without.
Now, the trapper looked at the other killer as he reappeared. He sighed, crossed his arms. Frustration bubbled within him; in spite of the irritation he felt, Evan couldnāt bring himself to direct it at this other killer. Somehow, the beingās presence was a calming one. The timid wave made him feel uncharacteristically soft. āYou,ā he said in a demanding tone. āWhatās your name?ā
Philip took a moment, thinking how he could show his name without being able to speak. Quickly coming to the conclusion a stick in the dirt would do well. Writing out āPhilipā in the dirt he gave a hoarse squeak and pointed. Then held his throat giving an apologetic wave with his other hand.Ā
He had his own questions. Not that heād need the otherās name, due to his inability to say it. It didnāt make him any less wanting of knowing the masked-mans name. He pointed to them giving a curious look, avoiding pointing at the shrapnel embedded in his skin. Philip could all too easily guess what that was.Ā

What shouldāve been innocence
Starter for @chuckling-agitation
Philip knew he didnāt do it. He fought with every last breath in him to show he didnāt kill any of them by his own hands. It was through him that the entity sow seeds of pain and misfortune. He knew he didnāt belong here. Refusing with everything in him to do as told. It was all for not as he became as good as petrified.
Feeling the humanity drain from him was the worst of it. His bark skin now the color of charcoal and ash, he did his everything to make it stop hurting. His eyes were sensitive, even the light of the fire hurt just a little. He sat there almost un-moving, staring at the fire that spoke commands to him. His eyes wereĀ āshutā in a sense, blanked over by a film that still let light and images through, but let him meditate in peace.Ā
Hearing footsteps near him he almost jumped to his feet bringing his tall frame to a defensive pose. He usually didnāt stand his tallest, but when he did he was almost a foot taller than the trapper. Philip let himself growl defensively at the other being, feeling more scared now than in the entityās presence. He shook his head and turned himself a bit giving a more ready to run or escape feeling, he had little intent to fight such a powerful-looking man.Ā
me, a witch: may i offer you a good vibe in this trying time?
āDette too cause I felt it was fitting to put the cutie in a big sweater. Sheāll probably whack ya with that mistletoe branch if you get all flirty at her tho.
Another one to match. Merr crisis.Ā
