My Artblog yay

I made this account several months ago and forgot about it. I remembered that I made it just now. I would like to introduce myself. I suck at talking, but I love to make art. I graduated from art school this year and generally know the direction in which I would like to take with my life. But I know it's not going to get any easier.

One thing I know for sure about myself is that I want to be a comic artist. I finished the first chapter of a graphic novel during my senior year in college. However, due to a lack of guidance and a lack of energy to seek out that guidance, I have sat on the first chapter for 6 months and I worked on other forms of art in the meantime. I have decided to self publish the first chapter at some point, but I would like to someday have all the chapters in one book as a graphic novel, duh.

I would like to get back into using social media more, but Instagram kills my soul and Reddit only seems to like my Pokemon fan art. There is an idea in my mind that screaming into the void of Tumblr may be beneficial to my mental health, even if nobody sees it. I did not have the time to maintain a social media account due to the fact that I work as a cashier at an evil satanic company. But I have the assumption that I do not have to be fake on Tumblr, so I can spend less time overthinking my posts like I did on instagram and reddit. It would also be beneficial for me to talk about what ever else I'm interested in, like music and video games and other coping mechanisms I have. That is why my blog is called Art&Chocolate, since eating chocolate is one of my coping mechanisms. Yes I know that is bad.
