I just got “caught” at P€+co; went in to get a bag of dog food and right as I put the food in my bag this shirt dude comes up and asks me if I need help lol I wanted to say “yeah mutha fucker help get out of my way” but I just smiled and said no thanks. I honestly don’t even think he saw what I did. He just walked up at the very end when I was moving my bag around but whatever anyway so after that, I hightailed it out of there and as I’m walking out he’s following me going, you’re not welcome back here and I just kept walking and ignored him and he’s like you hear me you’re not welcome back here. It’s like that’s fine. I’m not coming back here. Don’t worry if I do. I’m gonna have a good disguise on.

It’s been too mutha fuckin got to do shit!

Had a close call a few days ago; went into the red and white and as soon as I hit the door I was being followed and everywhere! At first I thought I was crazy but when they followed where I had put a few items down then I figured I needed to abort. So I bought a few things and left. I wasn’t going to try to talk myself into thinking I was just being paranoid.

I’ve been laying low anyways as I needed to take a break. The only exception has been groceries. I’ve done a few walkouts but not anything crazy just a few bags of groceries, toilet paper, paper towels, dog treats, soda, milk and iced tea. The last time my cart locked up as soon as I hit the door but this kid came up and did something and unlocked it and didn’t ask me anything.

I always like getting little makeup type bags, so I found one that had all these compartments and got it; well inside one of the zipper compartments it’s supposed to block RFID. I tried it out last night but only put the price tag Rrrfffiiiddd in there because was too scared to see if it would also block the alarm. So am curious and want clarification if it would block all the taaaggs

I hate asking the same question everyone else asks (but either doesn’t get answered or updated): so I went to a store that had this straightener that I’ve been wanting for awhile. I didn’t carry a purse or nothing, just wore my jacket inside. Walked up and grabbed the item and wrapped it in my jacket. It had that mini sp!der wrap looking thing on it (like I knew it would), and I didn’t take it off in store because I don’t have the S3 key. Someone had said that it shouldn’t trigger the towers when I walk out - but it did. So i kept walking to my car, no one said anything to me and when I was driving away I saw them huddled by the window watching me. Anyways I tore the alarm tag off and it started beeping so I threw it out the window and drove like a maniac home.

I’m sure they will be pulling the tape to see what happened and I won’t be going in there for awhile. So now I’m wondering if the c@p$ will be showing up? It was a little less than $300

Not sure who told you that spiderwraps wouldn’t set off door alarms, that is completely false & needs to be squashed ASAP. Stores use spiderwraps, tags, RFID’s for a reason. Second, it depends on what store it was, if they have strong LP/feel like prosecuting, how many times you’ve been there previously, etc. , lots of diff factors. Last, when you drove away were they able to get your license plate or did you park far away from the door? You said you saw them huddled & watching—hard to advise without knowing these parts of the story.

It was someone on here that said the wrap shouldn’t trigger alarm 🤬 I should’ve known better but because this particular wrap was one I hadn’t seen before and it looked generic so I thought maybe it was just a visual deterrent. Oh and this was at the orange 👻ty store. I didn’t park super far but far enough that depending on parking lot camera placement it could be blurry. I’m not sure what their procedures are but I won’t be going back for awhile and if I do I will definitely disguise myself. I feel like if I make it the next 48 hours then it should be ok?

Whoever it was that told you that about spiders—I hope they’re reading this post—is spreading what the news outlets call misinformation. Please everyone, take all tags seriously! Use your common sense.

As the phrase goes—no ID, no case. If you parked decently far away & they couldn’t get a shot of your plates chances are you’re in the clear. However, I would suggest that you do not return to that location for at least 8 months or even a year. Drive to a different one & definitely disguise yourself. Be careful & good luck. Keep us posted if something does happen.

I will for sure post any updates so others can learn from my experience. I definitely will not be going to that particular store for a long time! I probably won’t go into any of those stores in my area for awhile. Other than necessities (like food), I’m going to take a break from hauling for a bit - I’m getting too comfortable and or greedy.

The reason why I listened to this person who said that the wraps won’t trigger the alarm is because this person is ALWAYS posting hauls with expensive, large items that were wrapped; so I was naive in listening to them. I hope they weren’t trying to give me the misinformation to get me caught. Or perhaps there could have been a language discrepancy. Regardless, I learned not to be so naive, and not ignore that intuitive voice.

Just wanted to give an update to those who asked to stay posted. Today is the 4th or 5th day since that situation and still no knock on the door… I’m going to remain paranoid for another week (I live in a city and the cops are “busy” so maybe haven’t looked at anything yet); if no contact then I can relax about it.

Broke before I even get paid! Sorry but I need to vent somewhere because I am going to lose my shit!

I wish there was a way to £if+ brakes/rotors, registration, insurance, gas for your car! It’s ridiculous that I work full-time and make $20/hr but can’t afford hardly shit! I barely cover my 1/2 of household bills (rent, power, water, gas), food, etc and never is there money left over to save for times like these where I’m looking at about $1500 just to be able to drive (to work and back and go a few places) AND I owe about $8000 in back taxes! How is it that I am taxed so much but am at the cusp of poverty?!? I miss the days where I had a few hundred each week to save and or buy something I wanted.. Granted, I don’t go without too many things (as long as it can be c0n€ea£ed) and I’m thankful for that! And I’m grateful that I have a fiancé that pays 1/2 of our bills and will help me out if I need it (like $20-$100) here or there. But what would really help is for prices to stop climbing up and up and up! Gas today is $4.47/gallon and it isn’t even summer! Plus they water the fuel down so you burn it quicker and are filling up more often. Or it would be nice for these companies to stop raising prices on products that are getting smaller and smaller!

It’s interesting to see how so many of the OG’s that have been here forever (my old account was started in 2014/2015?) and how so many of us kind of disappeared and are now slowly trickling back here because of economics.

Just wanted to give a PSA to listen to your intuition about things.. yesterday I went into one of my favorite stores and had a few items in my hands and was about to conceal but something told me not to do it - and I listened and didn’t; 30 seconds later CS came walking up with the lame ass basket. I declined it and then 2 min later another CS with another basket! So I took it and was going to just conceal in the line but the line was super long so I just said F it and left. I normally would have went ahead and concealed and left but I just wasn’t feeling the vibe. Oh! And one thing I noticed was when I walked into the store is that I had my phone on airplane mode and that was when no one was bothering me but when I turned it on is when people started hassling me…

Almost stroke status

Went out of town this past weekend and wanted to find something cute to wear so on Friday I made a few stops and got some cute stuff. I had found these cute Nike's at one of the stores but couldn't get them because of no conceal room and magnet was in car, so I decided I will come back in a few days and see if they are still there and then get them. So that's what I did; I was in and out within 5 minutes tops! As I hit the door a cop car rolled up! I about shit myself! I kept walking to my car and when I was almost there the cop took off sirens blaring and exited the parking lot. I was super paranoid tho and kept thinking that he will pull me over after I leave the parking lot or something - but he didn't. I'm thinking that perhaps he was there to get someone else because like I said I was only in there 5 min and I didn't conceal the shoes (I wore them out) and only concealed my shoes that I wore in and booked it out of there. I'm sharing this experience because if something similar happens to you, then just keep going until they (cops) call you to stop. Anyways, this was my weekend savings:
