Lovino is taking off his shoe in the last panel bc he's an avid partaker in the toxic culture of beating on younger siblings' manly partners. This time he will beat Ludwig with his shoe (he won't actually do it but he will sure as hell pretend like he's going to).

A facade can only work for so long

Passion can persist in many different ways, even without love, and anger is one of them, emotions. I’ve always said that spain is reliant on his emotions, not calling him dumb but he can pick up cues, and feign acknowledging them. Of course, a facade, an act, only works so far until it reaches a boiling point, water spills over, until it eventually subsides again.

A former power has old habits, much like the others, his anger and strength still persist (even after hundreds of years go by).

Apparently, on September 22, 2022, Japan and Spain signed a memorandum for mutual tourism cooperation and strengthening ties.

Spain is a highly-regarded tourism destination in Japan, and in return, the number of Spanish visitors to Japan reached a record high in 2018.

There's much to look forward to from here on. I want to go to Spain!! (Himaruya)
