starting a new project

99% done, after 8 years we have finally finished (almost) everything.  we actually have made some improvements along the way, changed the layout a bit, added some much needed upgrades.  we have a little (very little but hard to reach) paint work left to do.  then we can say we are 100% done which means... time to make some new projects and think of some fun upgrades... stay tuned for more pictures of our soon to come upgrades!

after a long break of posting and some hard work (painting) we are ready for our 2019 summer season.  oh how we have missed you fontana!

Thanks to a friend, we have obtained some great footage by drone of Fontana and Panther Creek.  This video is taken at about 300 feet above the lake looking south, then turning north.  its a great perspective of where we are and how isolated in the great smokey mountains lake fontana is.  

Miami boat show

After being dormant (tumblr) for a while, we have obviously been busy. Making little milkavich, introducing him to the beach and freedom over Christmas... Oh and Jason jones checking in on our floating house! Happy new year

Almost that time... (at Lake Fontana Floating House)

We can now say our place is complete. We have some plans for additional things to attach, such as our new 'reading room' to escape to located on our new back deck jet ski slip and our soon to be built wood burning sauna. But, we can finally say we are complete. With plenty of distractions and honestly, who wants to work when your at the lake.

Bluemoon

Some sun, some rain, fast fun (on the water and high altitude mountain roads) and a lift that just didn’t cut it. Oh well, we know have a jet ski lift instead of a boat lift. Lake life goes on…

Floating vacation rental. Brand new and beautifully finished, equipped with two king sized beds, full kitchen and bathroom and plenty of water surrounding!
