Time is fake... Has it been that long since I was last on??

The downside to specializing in the piano is that she’s never learned to cook. The concern that she might one day burn her fingers on accident as many do when handling pots and pans is something that she has not allowed to stand between her and her passion. And it wasn’t much of a concern. Her family was happy to cook. Or at the very least, order take out on lazy days. Even at the Academy, Toujou-san would prepare meals.

Now Akamatsu must fend for herself. Not that she minds, but maybe she should learn to cook one of these days. She wonders if anywhere in the city offers lessons. For now her first priority is to sate her hunger. Thus she wanders the aisles of the shop for something that catches her eyes. And something... a familiar jacket. No. Someone. He hasn’t noticed her yet. She pauses briefly, then calls out to him:

As much as Akamatsu would love to run on her own energy, even she has her limits. Tiredness catches up to her faster than she’d like to admit it. With the weight of her past on her shoulders, exhaustion is inescapable. But she refuses to let that stop her, even if it means getting some caffeinated assistance. After all, there’s far too much she wants to know about this city. And she doesn’t know where to start.

One can only stay holed up in their room for so long and Kaede Akamatsu is no exception to this. There’s a whole city to explore, but her thoughts are elsewhere. Given the circumstances, it should be understandable. Then again, she’d look like the average girl to most who saw her. It was for the best. She has no desire to discuss with anyone the world whence she came.

Nevertheless she moves idly through the crowds, seeking a quiet place to settle her thoughts. Fresh air should do her some good. It’s how she finds herself seated on a bench near the fountain in Pearl Park.
