Enough is Enough!

Last June I had to retake an exam, I was well determined to succeed at that time because otherwise I would return the next year during my graduation internship. I studied really hard, I would give a lecture if i was asked to !

The exam day had come, I was as nervous as anyone else who's gonna sit for an exam and doesn't want to come back again for the exams retakes session in June. Yes that's right unlike all the other engineering schools in Tunisia ENSI doesn't give the slightest fuck about where you would come from to retake the exams in June! (I'm sorry but i had to say it). Why do we have to pay for your malpractices! Why does it have to be that complicated?? Let it be in February !! Big deal you say ? Because administrative procedures take so long bla bla bla. Quit taking us for fools! would you?!  You sign a stupid paper allowing the son of your colleague to step a foot in ENSI when he doesnt actually deserve it ? And then say to your students "We can not change the exams retakes session to February" ? Is that too much to ask for ? 

Back to my story, I went to the school to discover that the exam i was supposed to take started 2 hours before :D That means i missed the exam and had nothing to do but blame myself for not paying attention to the examination schedule! I tried to contact my teacher and see if i could take another exam. He said he doesn't mind it if i get the director acceptance :)

At that time I was completely desperate and decided to give it a go ! I went to the former director to present my demand. He unquestionably declined it and said that i need to read the school rules.

Are you kidding me ?! I suggest you to read it as well because as far as i know there's no rule for signing anybody's demand to study in ENSI ? 

Corruption affects every administration in one way or another. But, in an academic administration such as ENSI , it has assumed such tendencies that things are becoming extremely unbearable! 

While Students from this school have struggled and worked really hard in order to get the best ranks and finally get a spot in a such prestigious computer engineering school, others' greed is apparently unlimited.  They seem to be in a hurry to find the key to short-cuts at the expense of others.  The newly-elected director has broken the law and allowed her son to study in ENSI even though he was absolutely ineligible.

The nomination of the new director after a whole 4 months with nobody at the head of the school administration has pushed the students to protest against the abuse of power. In fact, this was not their only demand because the administration malpractices does not seem to have an end at all. Graduates from last year still have not received their diplomas! Not a single result of any kind of exam for the 2013/2014 academic year! No funding for the third year students going abroad for their graduation project and a lot of other countless problems !
