look who’s in the 30th anniversary issue of MAXIMUMROCKNROLL!
Possibly the only thing I'll EVER re-blog due to the fact that I conducted the interview. Cheers to MRR and GEG.

Yes, it's a real dildo. Sold on Das Oath's 2004 tour (got this at their show at Koos in Long Beach.) According to their drummer, Marcel, they had them in all "sizes and colors" though I don't know exactly how many of these exist. Packaging was printed by Bad Skulls, best known for their merchandise printing. Thought it was a good investment at the time... My future children, twenty years from now: "Dad, why do you own a dildo?"
The Shitty Limits at the Blue Star Bar/Restaurant (Los Angeles, CA.) on June 10, 2011. This was apparently their last show in the "States" as they call it (wankers!) before disbanding. Photos by myself or the lovely Meztli Hernandez. Notes: the singer kept calling people "cunts", and introduced their songs with Discharge song titles. Their album "Beware the Limits" on Sorry State Records is a modern classic.
FYP sticker (unpeeled) from 1995 or 1996. Got it from the band at a show they played with some crappy band at a crappy club in Hollywood. A friend and I were spitting at Todd and Joe (yeah, that's what we thought "punk" was back then) when someone tapped me on the shoulder and matter of factly said "Hey, if you spit at them one more time I'm going to beat the shit out of you." I never spit at anyone else ever again.
Unused syringe given out with copies of Iron Lung's "Demonstrations in Pressure and Volume" 7" (625 Thrash) during what I believe was their first tour. I got two copies (one for a friend overseas.) His read "Iron Lung means sharing" and was numbered out of 100. This one is unnumbered but was cooler to me because it has either Jon or Jensen's phone number. Don't even bother calling it: they were from Reno at the time and are now split between San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA.

Mark McCoy (Youth Attack, Charles Bronson, Das Oath, Holy Molar, Failures, etc.) sent this to me along with some records I ordered from him back in 2005 or 06. I thought it was so awesome that I hung it on my refrigerator and then later regretted doing so when it fell on the floor as I was mopping up the kitchen.
Flier handed out in line for last Spazz show at 924 Gilman, Dec. 2000. I don't know if the raffle ever took place because after the show everyone just wanted to get the fuck out of the building that was crammed with 700 plus sweaty punks. But apparently this CD set does exist and allegedly is housed in some sort of packaging that resembles a Chinese food take out container. Those six unreleased songs are a posthumous 7" waiting to happen...
