                          taught by experience. taught by the past jests. and yet the gesture speaks so valiantly about a conveyed innocence that amber loses herself in the moment, but unable to perceive the threat awaiting her with the following gesture ; and it is only when the sweet cream spreads across her features that she understands what has, in fact, occured amongst them both. a cake just pleasant in taste wasted for the sake of being smashed against her… gods, have mercy upon the witch’s soul. the eyelids open carefully only as the fingers finish brushing the remains off the eyes area, and a frown presents itself visible despite a layer of white.      ‘ beato—– what was that for?! ‘

          she tries to reply, but she’s too busy laughing that it’s extremely difficult to even utter a single word. she falls to her knees and doubles over, holding her sides as her laughter continues. when she finally settles down, she points at amber’s cake covered face and snorts, trying her hardest not to laugh again. ‘ a-amber, it.. it was so f-funny! ahaha, look at it! it’s all over your face! ’
