“Another earth year has passed, and she has to leave him again. Leave the Underworld to go up and walk under the sky of Zeus, melting the ice that has formed during her absence. Grass will grow, flowers will bloom everywhere and the humans will rejoice the warmth that she brings with herself.

He won’t freeze anymore while he waits for her, because when she bids him farewell, she wraps one of his fingers with her most precious stem. And it stays and warms him, while she is gone.

He will have to wait till she has walked and warmed every corner of the known world. And once it’s done, she will come back down here, with him. Then, they will be together for another season, while the cold invades again the known world, freezing everything. When the season is over, she will have to leave him again in this never ending cycle. As much as it pains him to be without her, it’s the deal they sealed, and he will respect her and her wishes for all eternity.”

And… NOVAUMBER IS FINISHED!!

Thank you so, so, so much to all of you who accompanied me this month, with this madness. I really hope you have enjoyed as much as I did. I must confess I feel a bit sad that November is over, I have had so much fun, I love our fandom. I’m sorry I couldn’t answer all of your comments the last days, it was a bit busy. Now I will have time to catch up ^_^

But then he raises his head and when his eyes meet hers it feels like his heart has been pierced by thousand thorns at once.

Vegeta as the bloodiest career tribute from District 2, volunteering to enter the games to win at any cost. Bulma, a mechanic from District 12, on the other hand, volunteers to take the place of her older sister, Tights, and save her life.

The only two tributes who volunteered for these Games are poles apart.

But the Hunger Games are known to change everything. Even the huge distance between a vicious killer and an honorable person can shrink so much, that they actually touch.

I imagine this as a long AU, with all DB characters as tributes. Goku could come with Bulma from District 12. Krillin, Yamcha, Puar, Tien and Chiaotzu could be tributes from Districts between 3 and 11. I would make a gender bend Raditz as the other career tribute that accompanies Vegeta from District 2. And A18 and A17 could be the ones fighting from District 1.
