MOVING TO MIRIAMPALMAS

I’ve been itching to share this for a while now. My last project was Cinderella, and since there’s already one version of Cinderella for Far Faria, I decided to do a Filipino version version just to mix it up.

josé protasio rizal y alonso

hangs out at the coffee shop more than often. majority of his closet is pallets of grey and black. goes home to calamba for the holidays. dates almost everyone who he hits on (or who hits on him). his writing is great but he can’t publish his books because he’s hella broke. sleeps at 3 AM, gets up at 6 AM. always falls asleep in the library. low-saturation still nature shots are his aesthetic.

marcelo hilario del pilar y gatmaitán

takes care of the budget every time the ilustrado barkada goes to enchanted kingdom. actually very insecure about the attention he gets, but he still likes the flattering remarks. goes home to bulacan on the weekends and does the grocery shopping. always competes with rizal in everything, even who can finish showering the fastest. for some reason, it always rains in the area where his apartment is situated. 

graciano lópez jaena

his room looks like a jungle. speaks the fastest and most fluent spanish among his friends. curses in bisayan, laughs the loudest. goes on drinking games with antonio. self-brews his coffee and tops it off with too much whipped cream before he writes.

antonio luna de san pedro y novicio

always wins at every chess game. goes out with his brother juan on weekends to chill. has a high tolerance for alcohol, but always ends up the most drunk. turns into a ten-year-old every time he’s around his mom. is not afraid to call someone out in public if they did any wrong to him or any of his friends/family. nobody can tell who curses more: him or graciano. combat skills are military level. always calls marcelo on the phone to buy orange juice at the supermarket. 

andrés bonifacio y de castro

does the laundry on weekdays so he won’t do it on the weekends. big fan of rizal’s works and tries to hang out with him a lot. usually spends his time lying down on his bed, doing nothing. last time he updated his facebook was three weeks ago. phone calls his siblings every weekend to see how they’re doing. you don’t know if he keeps wearing the same shirt, or if his closet is full of shirts that look alike. super friendly and down-to-earth, like he knows everyone in the country. his smirks could kill a man.

gregoria alvarez de jesús

looks best without makeup. what makes her day are the faces of disappointment every time she mentions she has a boyfriend. light brown ombré has always looked good on her hair. has the vicious merciless tongue of a serpent. the only times she’ll ever visit anding’s house is if she needs help with her thesis, or if she has absolutely nothing to do and they make out to old philippine indie movies. 

emilio jacinto y dizon

aiming to graduate summa cum laude, and by the way he’s getting his grades, that goal doesn’t sound too far off. wants to grow up to become a lawyer. is actually everybody’s son. is always the one stealing the chips and junk food. always carries a book (yes, even when he’s asleep). on weekends, he spends the whole day going around and talking with anding. eats nutella out of the jar with a spoon. 

emilio aguinaldo y famy

spends fifteen minutes in the bathroom combing his hair in the morning, washes the dishes every night. doesn’t talk a lot and only speaks when necessary. there’s always this unspoken tension between him and anding, even if they’re genuinely nice to each other. on some days, they’re chill. if you can’t find him anywhere, he’s probably out with pole.

apolinario mabini y maranan

shares a room with miong because if pole needs something in the middle of the night (like a glass of water or something), miong has to go get it. goyong always releases the breaks of his wheelchair and sends it down a ramp just to fuck with him. always internally facepalms at everything. is always busy or has something to work on, for some reason. the last to wake up and the first to sleep. has five pillows to prevent him from rolling and falling off the bed.

He has a license to operate a forklift. “That was my most physically demanding job but it was a good workout. I had to wear a hard hat, sando and back strap. ‘Yung mga nakikita niyong nagbubuhat ng cargo, I used to do that for a year,” (malay ko ba kung anong gagawin nyo sa impormasyong ito)
