I'm still trying to decide for now its just "how would this character adapt to this environment and how would their status change certain aspects.There are hints of their original story from homestuck. Ancestors are a little difficult cause for me I only have a limited amount of knowledge about them For Example,HIC still has her aggression but Crocker (swapped HIC) uses that to keep earth hidden and fight any troll that rises suspicion.There are similarities but are channeled in different ways compared to canon.Not a direct flip in personalities but Alternia easily brings the worst in people

Firstly,I LOVE this idea and it does make a lot of sense!! for purplebloods,I see it like an indie singer beyond underrated and never given a proper chance to let themselves shine and get recognition they deserve.Purples are a skilled and highly ambitious caste,full of energy and determination to pursue what they excel in Fighting rings are absolutely a thing.As awful as it is to say,it'd be like dog fighting.Young trolls riled up to blind rage and a lack of safety to where they just attack on sight.It'd be a risky career as any day you might get knocked out or injured too bad to no longer be useful to the empire.Once you start that path..you never really get out of it

Honestly it is due to me being more interested in Dave and Karkat's interactions during homestuck.Hemoswap is more focused on Alternia and trolls so the story kinda molds itself around the edits i made a few years back

yep! only difference is that due to the Lime cast being straight up ignored (my bad when making the au,was still learning about homestuck and Alternia in general at the time) Teal doesn't change all that much

ffff ok no more being cryptic Dave's horns are prosthetics and he is still human.He often disguises himself when in public or visible around other trolls BUT the horns aren't uh...exactly artificial fgdhjdg when Karkat has one of his usual outbursts there tends to be plenty of horns that can be harvested and made into a headband
