There was this idea floating around on the internet saying that Reiju was kind because she "learned emotion" from interacting with Sora, and leading to conspiracies/assumptions that her emotions were also originally messed up like her brothers. The claim was that it came from the Vivre card.

That was either a mistranslation or false rumour because the Vivre Card does not say that.

What the text says is "The kindhearted daughter of Germa who lived carrying and passing on her mother's feelings". This is referring to the episode of her reassuring Sanji that he was fine the way that he is because that was what their mother wanted.

If it's a mistranslation, it's probably caused by someone misreading 受け継ぎ as two words 受け and 継ぎ instead of a single joint phrase.

When the words are split up incorrectly the sentence could sound like "The daughter of Germa who lived on kindly after receiving her mother's feelings".

I can see why someone could misunderstand that sentence.

Even if that was misread, though, the smaller text next to it clarified the situation.

In the little corner box there, the text reemphasises that Reiju's emotions are perfectly normal (like Sanji) because the surgery that was done to take out the empathy from the quadruplets was not done yet to Sora when she was pregnant with Reiju.
