“I don’t know if you have come to the realization, Sebastian, but they too are reapers just like me. Why are they clearly much higher up in your level of standards than I? What separates me from them in your opinion?” Completely distracted by her anger, Grell did not sense what Sebastian had at the moment he did, only stopping because he spoke out, raising a brow. “What the hell are you talking about?” she questioned. She was going to continue when it then hit her, the anger washing away. Her already tensed muscles seem to tense up more, swearing in her mind. “I-It’s downstairs, near the door” she said, closing her eyes in slight aggravation, but with herself. She was so tired from catching up on collections the night before, she just left the weapon by door and went straight for her bedroom.

“Me? I have done nothing but what I was created to do, which is collect souls!” she snapped, shooting him another glare. “For all we know, it’s probably here because of you, not me!” Grell moved away from him when he finally separated from her, brushing her hair back in annoyance. “An angel, anywhere near my home. I might as well burn the whole place down after this” she grumbled, more to herself then to Sebastian. The redhead looked down at herself, thinking for a moment. The long nightgown will just render my movements… Without hesitation, she leaned down to grasp the fabric with both hands and pulled, causing a long tear halfway down her upper leg, continuing to rip the gown until the bottom portion was completely ripped off. It was jagged and uneven, some parts higher up than others, but she didn’t care. She just wanted to be able to move swiftly without the restraints of the bothersome skirt. Throwing the remains of the gown off to the side, she looked back at Sebastian. “Let’s get this over with. This day has already become far too much of a bother than I had ever hoped.”

The angel had decided to make use of Grell's scythe. They were going to be more then screwed if the being used the scythe. However the disgusted tut and clatter indicated the angel had dropped the scythe without a care to it's owner. Sebastian began to walk down the stairs quietly. He had to give them the advantage of surprise. The angel may assume that the demon and reaper were at hammer and tongs upstairs. He then walked right into the angel. He waisted no time and soon began to fight the angel. The angel had an advantage and soon had Sebastian pinned to the wall. the angel was perhaps careless as he did not make any attempt to properly hold the demon. He used a jerk of his wrist to send a knife right into the angel's chest. The angel drew back bellowing in rage. Sebastian grabbed the angel.

He slammed the other being against the wall and then cut off his windpipe so that he could not shout or yell like he had being doing. "Grell, a little help would be more than wonderful about now my dear girl." Sebastian said with force. It was mostly because he was using his power to keep the angel at bay. However because he couldn't assume his true form the angel wouldn't stay still long. As if the bastard wanted to prove Sebastian right he was thrown to the floor. The demon didn't rise. He was far too stunned for that. He felt a trickle of blood leave his nose. The angel had immobilised him for the moment. He had to wait. The feeling was coming back to his limbs though. "You can't defeat me." Sebastian managed to mutter darkly.

With each second his muscles were becoming more alive again. He used that to throw another knife which pinned the angels wing to the wall. Another knife pinned the other wing. This was going to be hard.

{☾}—Serenity gave a oh so innocent smile “See-demon, it does not matter that you are not apart of my world. My powers are made of light, they are made to rid of evil. If that be entitys, or demons.” She placed her arms behind her back and looked at him with a blank expression. The girl wasn’t afraid, she never had been afraid of things like this. Maybe the speak of Chaos but that entity was much stronger than the mere demon in front of her.

Sebastian listened to what she said and then decided to try a different tact. There was no reason for him to be so rude he knew that. It was a habit of his he had to say. He sighed gently and then pursed his lips. "I wish to say sorry to you my lady. I'm merely...tense." He said with a slight bow at the waist. He had to make sure that she was kept on his side. He wanted to try and find his master. He could sense him somewhere here. This place was the strongest and the most resonant. He didn't know what to do to find him. Usually he could find his master at the drop of a hat. This was most perturbing. "I'm looking for my master. He bares the contract mark in his eye." He said showing her the symbol on his hand. It was his best bet. He had to find him.

Today was a day usually Ciel wouldn’t care about, it was just another day with another title after all. With all of his days being a demon it would be just like the rest of his boring existence, correct?

Absolutely not.

Ciel was currently sitting in the living room of the house Sebastian and he had bought who knows when, shivering with anticipation and curiosity. It was the pairings anniversary, and usually this was no big deal, for they had been together for more than one hundred years, but Sebastian had promised a surprise.

Ciel hated surprises and of coarse the older knew this. He liked for everything to be planned out, to be organized. Ciel obviously figured that they were just going out to town or to catch a movie, but this was Sebastian. He always found a way to push the Ciel’s buttons.

Sebastian knew that Ciel liked things to be organized down to the last detail. Sebastian however was more chaotic than that. They had lived together to know how thing worked. However Sebastian couldn't help pushing the young boy. He enjoyed it. It was one of the few things that he still loved even after all those years. It never grew dull. Sebastian had done some mild planning. He hoped Ciel at least would appreciate some of it. He walked into the room and looked down at the boy in question. His lips curved into a smile. "You haven't been waiting for me have you?" He asked with a slight tone of amusement in his voice. He was pushing already. He then held a hand to show his peaceful intention towards the boy. Teasing could wait.

He handed Ciel his coat. "We're going out my lord, I'm sure you'll like where we are going." He told the boy with another smile on his face. He gave Ciel's shoulder a squeeze as he went to collect his wallet. "Come along." He prompted again. Once they had both headed outside he locked up the house. It was a nice house but the modern housing didn't hold a candle to the old houses. The ones which were built with good material and not done in a slapdash way. "Are you quite warm?" Sebastian asked. He never forgot his butler persona. He always did small things that helped Ciel and made him feel better.

Slowly putting them on, she looked back up at the demon, only to gasp as he practically closed the space between them. Without the aid of her heels, she now realized just how truly tall Sebastian was, especially when standing before her. The top of her head seemed to just barely reach his chin, intimidating the redhead. Instinctively, Grell stepped away, her back hitting the wall and preventing her from moving any further. Despite the surprised look on her face, her cheeks instantly turned a dark shade of pink with a hot blush, the sudden close proximity startling her, catching her off guard.

His words made her glare up at him, hands that held the wall behind her now fists. She wanted to snap at him, tell him she could easily defend herself without her death scythe, and eventually prove herself right. But her nerves were on end, unsure if she could keep any truth to her words.

“S-Sorry to disappoint, then” Grell nearly growled, turning her head to avoid looking at his demonic eyes. For once, she had to think before even opening her mouth, swallowing her pride to break free from the position she was in. It wasn’t preferable to fight him without her scythe, but it didn’t mean she would surrender without trying first if it came down to it.  “Seems as though I can’t give you what you came here to accomplish. So sorry.”

He looked at her and his lips curled in disgust. "You are pathetic. Why William or even the Undertaker waste their time on you I have no idea." He hissed. Perhaps he was hitting below the belt but she should expect that from him. He was a demon after all. Playing by the rules did not come naturally to him. He wanted to go on taunting her but he could sense and what's more hear the sound of someone lese in the building. An angel. They were even worse than the reapers. He made an effort to mask his aura. "I suggest you find your scythe or we're both going to be destroyed." He hissed.

As much as he wanted to be able to continue this little game of theirs he felt that the Angel needed more attention than a reaper. "What have you done to get their attention?" He asked. His voice was barely over a whisper. He still had Grell pinned to a wall but he moved back so she could move. The very presence of the angel was enough to turn his stomach. He checked his pocket. He had some silverware to use. If Grell found her scythe they wouldn't be too hard pressed. A demon and a reaper were more than a match for an angel.

A dark look passed Sebastian's face. Grell had escaped punishment purely for his need for assistance. He could go into is fully fledged form but he hadn't the energy or the desire for Grell to see his true form. It was repulsive. He wanted to at least be able to still taunt the reaper and not scare her off.

“Unsightly face? That hurts” she spoke, crossing her arms. “This is how you plan to complete your order? By coming when I was asleep, and now blind and without my scythe? That seems rather low, even for you.” Grell would be lying if she said she wasn’t nervous. She would never admit fear, but nervousness, maybe. As reckless as she was, she knew when the situation was serious, and he caught her at perhaps one of her most vulnerable moments. Her scythe wasn’t even in the same room as them, and without her glasses, going to retrieve it alone would be a challenge.

For a quick moment, her eyes flickered back to the nightstand, not seeing the red in the mixture of blurred colors.They probably fell to the floor, she thought, looking back at Sebastian. “Seems a bit of a forced win, don’t you think? Is that truly how you want to win in a fight, by competing against someone who has very small chances of succeeding? I would think you’d have more pride than that, Sebastian.”

His finger gently ran over them before he physically placed them into Grell's hand. It was a small act of kindness. Clear the demon was bored. He had nothing better to do than torment someone. "You may want to take better care of those glasses. You wouldn't want to break them would you?" He asked his voice more dry now. He pursed his lips for a moment. He was tempted to go back on the idea and just beat the reaper into submission but it lacked appeal. She had been asleep before he had came. It didn't seem to contain the fun.

He did however plan to have some fun. He wouldn't allow himself to get bored. He moved so that he was very close to the reaper. Barely a hairs breadth now lay between them. His red eyes fixed on the Reapers. "Now you have your glasses it's a fair fight. Do you really need your scythe against me?" He said his lips curving into a smile. "I thought better of you, It seems I am to be disappointed." He said with a bored tone of voice. His eyes glowed with demonic power. His smile was distinctly shark like.

He was baiting the reaper into acting first. He did intend for her to strike first. Maybe he would be able to scare her. Whatever the case the evening would prove to be a most entertaining one.

With eyes still closed, Grell’s hand extended out from under the covers and towards the nightstand, trying to locate her glasses without getting up. Unable to find them, she groaned and opened her eyes, her sight extremely blurry, but able to make out a dark figure standing in front of the open window. A startled scream escaped her, Grell stumbling out of her bed and crashing to the ground on the other side, away from the person.

“W-What the hell?!” she cried out, rising to her feet instantly and brushing off her nightgown, squinting to try and see better but to no use. “What the devil are you doing in my house— in my room?”

"He requested I capture Jack the Ripper and here you are. If I could not capture and remove your unsightly face for my master what kind of butler would I be?" He asked with a sublime feeling of elation. He knew it may back fire on him but he really had nothing better to do. The others were sleeping and young Ciel was in the capable hands of Tanaka who wouldn't let any harm come to the boy. "Shall we continue our little dance?" He asked his tone almost a purr.
