Inside were some books she had glanced at while in the Citadel, but never chose to buy. Not just one of them, but the collection they came in.

Scourge softly smiled at her, "Greetings, Juniper!" He watched as she walked up, "getting used to the holidays, but overall, I cant complain." He began, "And how are you?"

“I’m good thanks,” Juniper smiled. She caught a glimpse of the gift in his tail and arched a brow, her ears perked.

Scourge noticed her glance, bringing the gift to her with a bow, "I dont particularly indulge this holiday," he began, "but since you graced me with a gift, I had to return the gesture with gratitude."

Inside were some books she had glanced at while in the Citadel, but never chose to buy. Not just one of them, but the collection they came in.

Juniper’s eyes widened. Her ears perked. “Scourge…” she whispered, her fingers brushing over the covers. “You remembered…” Not a question. An observation. She looked up at him. “Thank you…”

Scourge nodded, "Indeed, I had some favors around the citadel and after a few asks, I got the gift." He smiled lightly at her thanks, "its not a problem."

Juniper used her powers to help bringer her up to Scourge’s face and she wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. Her wolf tail wagged happily behind her.

Scourge tensed momentarily, even if he trusted her, hell still had habits of making trustworthy people have tendencies to attack. When realizing she was just hugging him, Scourge slowly (and awkwardly) wrapped his arms around the middle of her back to return the gesture.

Juniper smiled a bit when she felt Scourge return the hug. Her tail wagged a bit faster in response as well. “Thank you…” she whispered again. “I hope you liked your gift.”

Juniper grinned and pulled back, ending the hug. “I’d love to.”

Scourge led her to his quarters. Having been there before, Juniper knew everything in the room.

“Want me to help?” Juniper asked, making herself at home.

Scourge pondered for a moment, then sat on the bamboo mat. "There's nothing to help at this very moment, just making the tea I suppose"

“Then I’ll get started on that,” Juniper smiled, beginning to prepare the tea.

“Well that’s good,” Juniper replied as she worked. “I ran into T recently, too. He had issues at his club.”

"Indeed," Scourge noticed her slight difference in tone when she spoke of the club issue. "My connections informed me of that issue. I gave him my aid in telling him to summon me at any time"

Juniper nodded and brought over the tea, setting it on the table. “That was nice of you.” She sat down next to him. “Hopefully he’ll accept your help.”

"I hope he does as well," his tail flicked slowly against the wooden floor. "For if the time comes, I will aid his call."

Juniper nodded. "I hope he does well, too." She sipped her tea and hummed. "This blend turned out better than I anticipated."

Inside the package were homemade teas of various blends and flavors as well as instructions for ideal steeping times. There were also homemade muffins inside as well.

Scourge sat there, looking at the box. He took a muffin and ate it, eyes widening at the astonishing taste. He stopped himself, wondering what he should get Juniper in return.

Juniper wasn't expecting anything in return, just happy to send someone she cared for something to make their day a little better.

Scourge wandered around the rebuilt citadel, picking a few Sakura blossoms and getting some books from some shops Juniper had been glancing at whenever she visited. Using a demonic ability to wrap the gift. Before he shipped it off, he realized he had absolutely no idea where she lived besides the citadel which he allowed her to call a home. "Hmm... I didnt think this through, did I?" He thought to himself.

Fortunately, Juniper happened to be walking through the Citadel.

"thats the thing... a few have been... but theyve never acted like this..."

“Odd…” Juniper commented, pocketing her phone. She felt a lecherous gaze fall on her and her ears pinned back. She glared at the offender, a poisonous plant sprouting next to her. The sinner swallowed nervously and vacated the premises.

"Yknow... the issue here is I usually identify poisions and stuff by tasting them... since eim highly resistant... but seeing what this has done to my frequent fliers... im not sure thats a risk I want to take."

“Understood,” Juniper nodded.

Juniper watched as T consumed the beverage.

“And the bad news?” Juniper arched a brow.

Juniper’s ears pinned back slightly. “Well that explains why those who have ingested this have been getting handsy…”

he wobbles a bit, walking towards her

Juniper rolled her eyes. A vine sprouted and lifted T gently away from her.

he squirms a bit, but seems to get comfy in the vines, the touch seeming to please the drugged brain

“So how do you wanna proceed?” Juniper asked T.

Juniper summoned a Hellish flower, much like what Prince Stolas had, and had it kiss T. “There.”

he actually seemed to like that, meowing happily.

Juniper snorted with slight amusement. “Alright. Now what?”

he just kept looking at her with a faint blush

Juniper waited. “Ok… so… clearly no decision making can happen on your part right now.”

he tries to gently rub the vines, in his brainwashed state, he thinks itll provide her pleasure of some kind.

he nuzzles the vines, purring.

Juniper went over to the bar and ordered a black coffee and brought it over to T. “Here. Sober up.”

He sips from the cup, but it doesnt seem to help.

Juniper frowned slightly. “Damn…”

Suddenly, he just straight uo vomits, making sure to aim away from her, but the vines get caught in the splash. the pink from his eyes seem to be vanishing slowly though, about half gone by the time he stops. he seems just out of it now, not flirty or anything. and from how the vines feel, he could give more with the right coaxing...

Juniper lowered T down from the vines. “You ok?”

he just lays there, not quite back, but the hypnosis is weak enough he can only barely move, groaning.

Juniper’s ears perked as she realized what she needed to do. “Sorry, kid.” She summoned fresh vines and restrained him. One went into his mouth, triggering his gag reflex.

he starts gagging and squirming, weakly fighting back.

Juniper continued to manipulate the plants, trying to get T to get the drink out of him the fastest way possible.

He quickly starts vomiting again, the first few spurts getting all over himself before he gathers enough strength to vomit on the floor, violently vomiting uo the rest of qhat was in his system... including a random hand he ate at one point.

Juniper withdrew the vines. “You good?”

“Sorry,” Juniper whispered, kneeling next to him.

Juniper nodded.

“You feeling ok?” Juniper asked.

Juniper nodded. “You gonna face Val alone?”

"of course not. im gonna have ol reliable with me. nothing i cant handle with a lever action and the right motivation."
