18. A drunk text

Mal was about to turn around and say something else when he was pulled into the kiss, it took him a second but leaned into it as he hands began to unbutton Azazel’s shirt, pushing it over his shoulders before placing kisses along his collarbone. Malachi took hold of his hand and started to lead him up the stairs.

Malachi’s enthusiasm was something of a relief since Az was half expecting the angel to get to a point and then pull the breaks. If he did it was fine but all lights seemed to be on green so far. As they reached the bedroom Az pulled him back so he could kiss him again and reach to start ridding Malachi of some of his clothes. It wasn’t all that fair he was the only one showing some skin after all.

“Plus, he’s kind of not a fan of the nudity thing. He’s Victorian.” Malachi shook his head then shifted closer then he was tugged a bit. “Hm, why don’t you surprise me?” Mal then pushed the gate open and left him standing there as he approached the house and unlocked the door. “Don’t forget to take your shoes off.”

With a smirk on his lips Azazel followed Malachi into the house, kicking his boots off as he entered the door just to appease the angel. Once the door was closed however Azazel quickly cut through the space between them, taking hold of Malachi’s shirt once more and dragging the man in to kiss him. 

“Well this one is special. This one is mine.” He grinned before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a card. “I’m Az.” He handed the card to her. “I’m opening up a drinks establishment meant for only a certain type of clientele. You seem like the type that would fit in there.”

“We celestial beings are some of the worst to look at, one glance of our true forms and it’ll burn you from the inside out.” Malachi was slightly surprised when Azazel followed but he continued to just walk down the street, heading towards his own place but paused at the gate, listening out for a moment before breaking the silence. “My roommate is out.”

“Who could resist a floating ball of eyes and wings?” He chuckled as he followed, slowly coming to a stop just outside Malachi’s home. “Oh? Good. I’m all for exhibitionism but I prefer it if it’s planned.” Azazel stepped up to him, tugging at Mal’s shirt just a little. “So you got me here, what are you hoping I’d do to you?”

Yeah, Kadin had paused to watch the guy doing whatever it was he was doing.. “Not really.” They mused, brow raising. “Honestly, didn’t really know there were phone boxes left…” The brunette admitted, chuckling. The kelpie wasn’t the most observant of things that didn’t directly relate to them. “This just a hobby of yours, or someone pay you to do that?” Both options were equally as odd, honestly.

“Of course there are. They don’t don’t often get used as phone boxes. Same with police boxes though you’ll have to go to some pretty obscure places to find one of those these days.” Azazel chuckled and shook his head when the woman questions why he was doing what he was doing. “Nah, this one belongs to me so I’m keeping him all nice and pretty.”

“What can I say? People like to underestimate me. They think aw how sweet with their halo and harps.” He shrugged then chuckled. “Better come and find out.” Then Malachi turned to leave the pub.

“Only some of us know what angels really look like.” To say that Azazel was surprised that Malachi seemed to be into what he was putting out there would be an understatement. The Angel was kinda known for being particular about his partners so to get the go ahead to follow him was an opportunity too good to give up. Of course he followed. He wasn’t an idiot.

“I know.” Malachi simply grinned. “I’m not some wide eyed inexperienced angel, you know? I fell for many reasons and giving into sexual urges was just one in a long list.”

“Malachi, I’ve been watching you fuck about for literally thousands of years. You think I don’t know what you’re capable of?” It was his turn to get off his stool. “Planning on giving into any today?” Azazel asked, looking up at him, the difference in their height only slight.

“The thing is Az…” He leaned towards him. “I am the bad boy.” Malachi sat back again. “We shall see how I feel.” Then he finished the drink and got off the stool, stealing some of the food from his plate first.

“Oh?” He raised an eyebrow as he watched Malachi get up from the stool and steal some of his food. A purposeful move given the angels attitude towards eating. “You gonna prove it, bad boy?” Azazel asked. “You know, you really are a tease.”

Malachi just grinned when the other laughed. “Now you know why I prefer some over others.” He shrugged then shook his head. “Yes, I know how Lucifer works. Not much has changed since he was expelled.”

“You crack me up. You’ll admit you have a thing for demons because they have better stamina but won’t admit it’s because you like a bad boy?” He chuckled. “Weird priorities but go off.” Azazel leaned forward. “You should come by Limbo sometime. See if you still remember how to have fun.”

Without even thinking about it, Mal came out with “Yeah, well demon types have better stamina than most others.” he shrugged and got himself another drink like nothing had happened. “Good for you, the angel that made the first Nephilim is currently floating around in the Empty so you got off lightly.”

He couldn’t help the laugh that left his lips. Malachi did have a habit of being so blunt he was funny sometimes. “That we do. I’ll give you that.” Azazel rolled his eyes though when Malachi explained what had happened to the first Angel to fuck a mortal. “The major difference there being my father doesn’t give two shits where I stick my cock.”

“Two.” he corrected. “I had a boyfriend who was a witch in San Francisco before I came here but that’s not the point in this, I don’t have a type.” he rolled his eyes some. “You’re one to talk. You practically invented the warlock.”

“Oh my bad. Two. Like it makes that much of a difference.” Az shook his head. “My point being, someone likes having a little demon in him now and again.” He winked at the fallen angel. “Oh I know exactly what I did and there’s no question about it. I made the first Warlock. I wear that badge with honour. Why bring it up? Or is you pointing out I know how to break rules a hint you want a little something more than the pleasure of my company?”
