the 632-meter tall Shanghai Tower is a bustling mixed-use metropolis with more green space (and even more people) than many cities on the ground can boast of having. The statistics on the building, which ranks only behind Dubai’s Burj Khalifa in height.
Great Wall of China is one of the seven wonders on the earth. This great wall is very famous for mega structure planing and history. This wall was built for defence of the country from foreign attacks. The Great Wall of China today consists of more than 6,700 Kilometers of wall, stretching over deserts, cliffs, plateaus and hills as it separates nations from the east coast to the northwest corner of China. The Great wall stands up to 25 feet high, 30 feet wide at the base, and 12 feet wide at the top. Mongol invaders however had no trouble breaching the wall by going around it due to its non continuity, so the wall proved unsuccessful and was eventually abandoned. A vast majority of the brick and stone that people see today were put in place during this period in defence against the Mongols, and a number of towers were erected that acted as beacons to warn of advancing troops. Smoke signals were used during the day and fires were used at night. The most visited section of the Great Wall, and the first to be opened to tourists in 1957, is located in Badaling and is a part of the wall that was built during the Ming Dynasty.

Buddhism
Being brought into China 2,000 years ago, it was gradually widely accepted by most Chinese people and developed into three sections, namely the Han, Tibetan and Southern Buddhism. Buddhism not only brought a different religion, but also brought a different culture. It influences the local culture on three main aspects: literature, art and ideology. Many famous poems have ideas from Buddhism and many Buddhist stone statues can be found, which show its huge influence. It also promotes the countries’ intercultural communications with foreign countries. In Tang Dynasty (618 - 907), Jianzhen traveled to Japan to spread Buddhism as well as Chinese culture. Xuanzang, who traveled to India to learn Buddhist doctrines, brought a plenty information on the language of the countries he had been to.
