Reckon enki has a tail?

also, you ever wonder if he's misjudged how well a branch would hold his weight when nosying in on a conversation, or hiding to avoid training (when he lived in the mountains), and it snapped?

I feel like he'd assume subconsciously that everyone had tails and they were just hid in them or docking them or something. I can imagine him shit talking hajime and jabbing at hajimes tail being bald. And that's how the other supervisors learn his tail isn't fake

~Samon tail headcanons~

•oh, he 100% has done that.

-enki is looking for him, annoyed because its been 20 muinets- samons doing good avoiding him this time! he wraps his tail round a branch so he can get a good look at his brothers where abouts so he can avoid him, the branch snaps, and he lands on his head. right infront of enki. safe to say he had to train way harder that day...

-i can also see him trying to listen in to a conversation and falling out the trees to, but hes hasn't learnt his lesson. he still does that.

•I also think he uses it like a third hand

-he gets fed up of kijis nagging, especially over his eating ice-lollys. he just loves them, and its hot at nanba prison!!! he just wants to cool down and eat something nice. when he smells kijis perfume (its a great indicator. but, annoyingly suffocating) he uses his tail to hold it under the desk till kiji leaves. he does NOT want to deal with that while having to do boring paperwork

-it also helps with rowdy inmates, he can grab them without getting close. its convenient with violent prisoners, especially with the amount of fighter prisoners in his building.

-and he uses it to swat at hajime during fights, it pisses him off and that makes it all the more entertaining for samon.

•I think its possible he's made fun of hajime for having a bald tail but, I personally think its funnier if he made fun of him for loosing his tail

-when he first met hajime, he asked if he was like one of those dogs that get there tails cut off and laughed. hajime was horrificly confused, and just asked him if he was high or something. Enki had to explain that most people don't have tails - samon was floored.

-he proceeded to make fun of hajime for not having a tail, its useful, astheticly pleasing, and something he has over him. hajime doesn't care. samon won't stop talking about it anyways.

•I think his tail is real and naturally like that. he had it when he was just a little guy, and used it like it was an extension of himself, I think he probably based everything around how his tail looks, he got fed up of people calling him monkey and the tail didn't help. spoiler alert, it doesn't stop. he is and will always be the prison monkey.

• you can tell how he feels by his tail

-when he's nervous or upset, he wraps his tail around his leg. it helps keeps him grounded, and it keeps it out of sight, he doesn't want people paying attention to his tail and figuring him out

-when he's angry or shocked, it goes stiff. instead of curves and swaying, its straight and any turns are sharp, it flinches whenever his eye tics to.

-if he's happy or calm, he sways his tail and it usually points upwards if he's stood still, he has to consciously keep his tail still and down when working so the prisoners don't figure out his plain give away, but any control goes out the window when he's pissed.

°over all, his tail is apart of his core identity, he's always using it to help him out, and its just as expressive as his eyes are. His tail is a guide-book to how he's feeling, but he won't let anybody figure that out - not unless they get his full trust. and considering his history, thats no easy task. so if you do notice? don't point it out. or you'll be faced with a very angry monkey.°
