“Oreos! Don’t forget those!” Meg called out.

“Of course I won’t forget the Oreos!” Samantha giggled and ran to get them and two tall glasses of milk

Meg pulled some of the pillows off the couch and placed them onto the floor. “Blankets still in the hall closet?”

“You know it!” Samantha called back, setting the glasses of milk down on the floor with a loud giggle

Meg pulled a few blankets out. “You kept this?” she laughed, pulling the My Little Pony blanket out of the closet, before heading back to the living room.

Samantha looked over and chuckled. "That's Osiris' blanket. He loved the thing." She smiled and sat on one of the pillows

“Uh yeah I was told that you help hunters.. and I was wondering if my dad came to you for help.” Says a young girl with a pained expression on her face playing with the sleeves of an old flannel.

“I do help hunters.” I frowned and glanced around quickly. “Who’s your dad? I might have helped him.” I spoke softly, trying to give the girl a bit of hope.

“His name is uh.. Sam Winchester.. and I can’t find him.. come to think of it I can’t find my uncle Dean either.. have you talked to either of them” she stutters our In a soft voice with brown puppy eyes pleading with you to have some answers.

I frown and shake my head, offering a hand to the girl in front of me. “I haven’t, but I’ll look for them. For now, I can offer you a place to stay.” I offered, smiling softly. “Just until we find them.”

She sighs sadly before nodding and shakily taking your hand. “Thankyou” she says softly offering a sad smile.

“What’s your name?” I ask softly, pulling her into a hug. “I don’t want to have to call you Samsquatch junior.” I joked softly to pick up the mood

She giggles half heartedly “call me Hazel.. or Crowley calls me wolf” she smirks

I chuckle and nod. "Mine should be fairly easy. I'm Samantha." I say ask I pull back, letting go of her. "Nice to meet you."

Meg nodded and kissed the corner of Samantha’s mouth. “It’s okay, Sam. I know you wouldn’t have done it if you didn’t have to.”

Samantha nodded and rested her forehead against Meg’s. “I know. I’m just glad you’re alright. All I ever wanted was for you to be safe.”

Not more than five minutes later, a letter slides through the mail slot. The name Sam was written in beautiful cursive. The envelope had no detail other than the name, but when it fell through the slot, it landed with a clunk

Meg goes over to the envelope unsure of what she is going to find. “Sam?” She asked cutting the envelope open to see its contents.

The object that had caused the sound upon impact of the floor was a necklace. It was a flat labradorite stone attached to a string. The note on the inside only read: “Hello Sweetie.“ 

Meg wove the black cord through her fingers as she looked at the stone. A watery smile stretched her face when she saw the note. “Hiya Samantha…” She said softly.

“Hiya,” Samantha replied from behind Meg, arms crossed over her chest. She had cut her hair short, she smelled like gasoline and ash, and her face was dusted with soot. “Long time no see, huh?“ 

Samantha smiled and accepted the hug, wrapping her wings around the demon tightly. “I’m alive. I can’t stay for long, I don’t want you to be dragged into this.” She whispered, gently kissing Meg’s cheek. 

Meg smiled and held her tight. “I didn’t think i was going to see you again.” Meg pulled back and smiled at her. “Fuck… I’m so happy you’re okay. That you’re here.”

Samantha chuckled and nodded, putting a hand on Meg’s cheek. "I know. Hell, I wasn’t sure I’d come back.” She shook her head and glanced down. “How is Colt? Has he been treating you good?”

Samantha smiled warmly and nodded, gazing happily into Meg's eyes. "I know. I miss you too. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. It hurt so much to leave you like that.."
