"Have you done anything like this before?" he asked a moment later as he didn't like the silence.

Any inconvenience he said, that was funny. Shaking his head at the words, if it was he wouldn't be doing it. Probably more of an inconvenience to the carnival that he was out here telling people how to win.

❝Like telling people how to win ?❞ More than he should ! ❝Or playing darts ? Don't really matter the answers the same regardless, that being yes. To the point where I'm about to start having to pay part of my paycheck to put towards the balloon fund.❞

He just liked games that let him turn his mind to other things is all, and what better game than throwing shit at a wall ? He could block out the noise of the balloons popping easy, didn't disturb him at all when putting together plans.

Icy blues looked over at the other before he raised a brow. "Carried away? Me? Hardly but I get what you mean I think?' he said as he hummed gently. In all honesty he was very confused but decided to not make it an issue. "A trick you say? Care to share?"

❝A trick, but only one that will work with complience.❞

Pushing himself off the stand as he beckons with a finger, calling the other to the side just enough to be out of hearing distance with the loud chattering of the crowd. Easy to pass secrets in a carnival, wasn't it ? Just had to get a little closer than usual, but hey, a secret should be get quiet and close anyway.

"I admire your performance, as a watcher but..." He pauses to figure out how to say it plainly; without looking like a fool (possibly -already does).

"I don't know too much of myself, so anything you have to say is helpful, even if it doesn't feel like it is... I might be a musician, but I know nothing of the carnival, nor the effort that goes into it." The man offers a pitiful look.

Feel natural, what a funny question. Truthfully, yes, but no in the traditional sense. Not in the way he would say to "reassure" the other.

❝'Course. Do something for so long, practice it over and over, and when you do it- whatever it is- it's going to feel natural. Unless you mean more like "I was born with natural talent in this thing or hobby", then no.❞

Shaking his head at the words. Never was a born juggler, doubt many people were. What a sad thing it would be for whoever might feel that way. Or maybe pathetic was a better fitting word.

Annoying, grating, frustrating to no end. Suffocating as it made it hard to slip away. Wonderful, easier, proud. All true at the same time.

     A quick and to the point response. As far as he's concerned, there's no point in beating around the bush like that. From what he could tell of Colt and Malice's own feelings, it was much the same. There wa sno want for anyone else within their relationship – no need. They were hapy as they were. Communicated. Understanding each other.

     Kyn seemed to enjoy barking up the wrong tree, however.

     “ I know what y'er tryin' t' get at. Th' care and attention that I give t' him s' different th'n what I give t' th' men I love that way. I have no romantic interest as far as that boy's concerned. And given how much younger he is th'n me? He is a boy. ”

❝Uh, no.❞

To think that's what he was trying to "get at" was kind of idiotic, but, well maybe he did give the wrong idea with his joke. He'll take that blame just this once.

❝Nor is he a "boy", he's older than me, that'd be like if you called me a boy. But you wouldn't, right ? 'Cause it carries a sentimental weight to you in a way, huh ? And believe me, I know you don't give a fuck about me.❞

If anyone did they would be a fool. Why care for someone who is only ever lying to you, all the time, no matter the subject ? You're falling for an act. Even now though he's being rather candid for once, there was still a mask in the way.

❝I'll lay it out plain for you, just this once.❞

A generous choice for him, not one given lightly !

❝He's different from us, and I don't mean in his aspect. Or his personality, nothing like that, that's too obvious. That "boy" is His kid. Can't prove that really, but I mean honestly, if you think about it for a second isn't it kind of glaring ?❞

Hands stopping as he places the pen back down on the desk. Maybe he was less trying to mess with someone, and more wanting to get another opinion on his thoughts. He couldn't just ask Eve, and there was no way he would be able to get any ideas from the other two, but it made sense in his mind. Why else would they be so compelled, forced even, pulled along on a string to find Merciful death ? It's not like they had to know each other, only reason he knew the other two was 'cause of a performance.

     “ I don't know what specifically y'er talkin' about. ”

     His response is quick. To the point. Mostly because his focus is on the papers on his desk that he has to look through. Eve's health is important given his relationship with Eros and their partners. As much as he is basically Colt's child - so too is he Eros'. Which means that he has to take care of the younger… not that he minds, though. It's nice having someone to care for like that. To feel as though he's part of a family.

❝What a shame to hear their joint idiocy is rubbing off on you.❞

Really, truly, it was. 'Course the two of them were smart people, just not when they were near each other. Made the executioner seem like the smart one in the room sometimes when he was around them.

The words a bit cold, but are spoken with a laugh. It was funny, to him anyway. To think that they commanded attention even when yelling at each other, or actually physically fighting.
