Gavribbins real and true and canon To Me but also I am soooooo incredibly picky about it, like I get the jokes but I'm not rly a fan of the "gavries + Stebbins is also here" "Stebbins in the cuck chair" thing for a variety of reasons and I also absolutely HATE fics that have the relationship kick off with jealousy and violence between Pete & Stebbins about Ray. I think that's both a huge disservice to & totally inaccurate to the characters (ESPECIALLY Pete like mister "I try hard" is not fist-fighting Stebbins over something like that can ppl PLEASE get over this thing with wanting Pete to lash out with jealousy over Ray it's literally so gross). But my pickiness and pet-peeves aside I do think the three of them are deeply codependently intertwined in each other's lives in every universe 💖 The best gavribbins fic I've ever read by far and the one that most connects with how I see this ship is "Present Tense" by helia_06, I rly enjoy the dynamic she establishes where Pete & Stebbins also care deeply about one another, just in a different and not entirely romantic way like how Ray & Stebbins/Ray & Pete feel for each other, but that care is still very much present and valuable. I think it's nice to see a poly relationship that falls a little outside the more common preconceptions of what a throuple is and it also especially works for me as gray-ace Stebbins truther.

it's been a wild few weeks, but chapter two of my easter bunny stolson fic is finally up! sorry to leave y'all hanging for so long, but hopefully a longer chapter with a little hurt/comfort can make up for the wait. one more chapter left! i'm so stoked to wrap this one up, it's been so much fun and i'm ready for a super sweet conclusion.
