armand’s apology to louis delivered in a sarcastic way versus louis’ apology to armand delivered in a sincere way despite the hours of torture he just suffered…… ldpdl one of these days you won’t simultaneously be one of the many morally complex abusers on this show but also the ONLY person on this show who is forced to take accountability for it. one day someone is going to apologize to you and they’re going to actually mean it. no sarcasm, no throwing distracting gifts at you; just a genuine, simple “i’m sorry.”

I do think it's wild that some people took Armand torturing Louis as his entire motivation for the season was to do that to Louis. Like I think he can have multiple motivations at the same time 😭. Yes I think he planned from probably the beginning to do this Louis but I do also think he is trying to stop the great conversion. Because why else would he also take Lestat? Like if his only motivator was to torture Louis he could have kidnapped him before Lestat got involved in the Regina stuff. The reason he waits is to stop the concert from happening! He does actually want that to stop bc he doesn't want the great conversion. He didn't lie to Daniel about the great conversion being dangerous just to get to Louis. He was actually concerned about Daniel dying due to Lestat's careless actions!
