“Hey, uhm, my car just broke down, and my phone just died. Can I use your phone?”

“I ah- We don’t have a phone,” He spoke out honestly and glanced back inside. The phone had been cut last night. Same with the cable. They didn’t have the money for it anymore.

“Oh man. I don’t even know what happened! I was just driving home from school and my car just made these awful noises and stopped. Do you know anything about cars?” She looked around nervously, no one else in the neighborhood seemed to be home.

Heather: And I’m guessing you haven’t slept properly in ages

She continued to mess with her hair, looking at him in the mirror. “And a girl has a right to some secrets, right?

Heather started to dance, probably not the safest driving practices, but the song demanded it. She let out a cheer of agreement at Skylar’s statement. That is, until she saw blue and red lights flashing a few cars behind. She had a feeling she it was for them. Heather looked over at Skylar with a smirk and said “Think we can loose them?”

“SCORE.” Heather cheered as she got in the car, starting it and plugging in her aux cord. She quickly started to play Bad Blood at full volume. As the song began, she couldn’t help but get into it and yell all the words out the window as they drove.

Heather: Heals or no?

Heather: Only if you wear those jeans I love... ;)

“Can we get McFlurries too??” She asked, grabbing her car keys.

[Text] So ehm [Text] are we going on this date or not?

Heather: When are you going to pick me up?

“Just leave me alone..”

“You know I won’t do that, Kenza. Please tell me what’s going on?”

“I kinda just wanna eat McDonalds for the rest of my life… I think that sounds reasonable enough.”

“I think that is a great idea. I think I could happily live off chicken nuggets.”

He could almost laugh, if he wasn’t a bit frustrated. “How many do you think?” Vincente asked her, raising a brow. Did she even know him? What he did? The blood on his hands. It bothered him, but he’d never show it.

“At least 20, and that’s on a bad day. But then again, I don’t even know where you go all day, so it could be even more than that! Care to enlighten me, Vinny?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

“You’d be surprised what I can do, sweetheart.” Or what I do on a daily basis.

“Oh really? Like how many puppies you can pet in day?” She was skeptical that he had any real action going on in his life. Not that she really had anything, but still.
