honestly most of them, lol. i guess i understand why people often take the characters of twin peaks at simple face value - that soap opera framing kind of condenses their personalities and quirks and plotlines into essences of these characters that are easier for people to digest whole without trying to pick out the more refined notes. i would say laura, cooper and audrey are the biggest victims of this (laura the patron saint of victimhood, cooper the golden retriever and audrey the big dumb dummy, if she's even being talked about at all), and i could go on about the moral superiority complex tainting the fandom but i don't have anything to add to the conversation that hasn't already been said.
