so uh....if you’ve been wondering where I am I’m mostly over at @echowoven right now with a dash of @clockcdout and @destinysailed. Twis/ted Won/derland has most of my braincells at this point - and night shifts are really messing with me so I don’t have a lot of energy rn so I’m not as effective at blog hopping as I used to be. So I’ll just -- be on these blogs mostly for the time being. Sorry.

@verumking / fallacy asked for angst and I got hit with an idea so here we are
Atlas can’t breathe. He can barely move. Frozen and pinned in place by the familiar yet distant stranger.
It took a few moments for his mind to catch up to what exactly was happening. Yozora was kissing him. Kissing him as if their lives depended on it, as if he was giving Atlas air instead of stealing it right out of his lungs. His glasses on his face were skewed as Yozora pushed as closed as he could possibly get.
How had it come to this? One moment they had been talking, then silence fell, and then Yozora moved - pinning him up against the wall of the lobby before he could even react. Kissing him quicker than anything could be done about it. Atlas was no fighter, he didn’t have quick reflexes like Yozora. Nor did he have the strength at first to push the other off. That doesn’t stop him from trying to do exactly that the second his mind catches up. His body feels like it’s on fire, the contact all too much for someone who is scared of the simple concept. His hands are shaking against the other’s chest, feeling the hum of - what exactly? A heart? Something else? Regardless, for a few moment he is all too scared, terrified even, to have the strength to push him away.
He can’t breathe.
Yet there’s some part of him, somewhere in the back of his mind and heart, that says this is okay. That this is somewhere he could be safe. But it’s quickly snuffed out by....something else. Fear at first, of the touch and Yozora’s intentions. And then blinding anger.
“Th--” Finally Atlas manages to muster the strength to properly put his hands on Yozora’s shoulders and start pushing him away. “That’s enough!” His hands are hot, and for a moment Atlas doesn’t realize that magic is swirling around them. Nor does he realize that for a brief moment - color returns to his seemingly lifeless eyes. From silver to purple his eyes flare, just as his hands practically catch fire as he works up the strength to completely push the king away.
His gloves that were so carefully crafted to handle his magic flames were practically reduced to ashes at the mere intensity of the smith’s current flames. Magic fueled by anger, by fear, by something else. He can feel the flames making new scars on his hands and arms, but he doesn’t care. His eyes don’t leave Yozora’s gaze.
The dream piece that Yozora had on him flares the same pinkish-red color as Atlas’s hands. Atlas doesn’t seem to catch the light of the piece, blinded in more ways than one. He doesn’t remember the last time he’s been so furious.
“Get out.”
Stupid Death! a familiar voice rings in Yozora’s mind. Don’t make him remember!
A wave of the smith’s hand and a shockwave is sent out throughout the shop. Items around them are now floating, and there’s a fate purple glow in the environment as well as Atlas steps forward.
You’re ruining everything! The dream piece glowed brighter.
“I don’t know what all that was about - but leave now and I’ll maybe forget it ever happened.”
I’ve mentioned it a few times on this blog and on others but I decided I need to put up an official notice.
The project I’m on is really ramping up and we seem to be getting overtime practically every weekday / weekend. Which is great for me considering all the financial issues i’ve been going through lately - so I’m taking any opportunity at overtime I can take. But it does make me tired or just unmotivated to rp after I get home so I figured this is a good time to take a bit of a break.
As some of my followers know this year has been...particularly rough for me - especially the last month or so. So I probably just need to step away and let myself focus on my work and some other hobbies for a bit. Not that tumblr is the cause of my stress, but I am a bit of a workaholic and while i don’t consider rp a job, I do try to please everyone and always be active / posting ic things a lot so I think I just need to step away and remind myself that I don’t have to do that.
At the very least i’m using this time to take things slow. I’ll likely be lurking if I am bored at work or at home, but I’m not going to force myself to be active and reply to stuff. I’ll reply to what I want, when I want, and while that might annoy some people it just be like that sometimes.
The last two months have not been kind to me, and I haven’t really allowed myself to rest except for like, once. I really need to focus on myself and my mental and physical state because repeat after me everyone: self care is not selfish. Take care of yourselves.
I’ll probably be wayyyy more active on discord and I kind of want to get into rping there on a semi normal basis. So mutuals are free to ask for my discord! I’ll check in a few times to give it out if people want it but I don’t do drops so you have to ask.
