a smile grows slowly on his face as he gives a little shake from his head. ❛ you say escape as though ivan holds me hostage. ❜ raising a curious brow he studies her for a moment. ❛ i don’t think ivan would be very happy about that, in fact, he may be very displeased with your attempted to steal me away. ❜ he gave a light-hearted laugh with a small shrug. ❛ but… who am i to resist waffles? ❜ @rosemourn ❨ random ask ❩

his cheeks flush pink and he smiles hard at the show of affection, giving a loving sigh, his eyes softening on ivan. somehow everyone pushing past them seemed to fade away, and it was almost like they were the only ones in little palace. he spoke softly ❛ i know it must be hard for you to focus but. . . there are lot more pastries for us to try. ❜ he smiles widely, giving a small giggle, tugging at ivans hand. ❛ but first, perhaps we can grab a glass of champagne, just one ! —  ❜ he tries to ease ivan, knowing that both of them drunk could end in disaster. ❛ and hopefully, when we’re not needed… we can have a little more fun. alone. ❜ he can tell ivan heard the shift in his tone and the change of the look in his eyes when he spoke those words, he had to admit he liked exciting him — he took pride the pleasure and joy he could bring ivan that no others could.

he swallows and places his hand on ivans arm. ❛ we have the night to spend with one another, ivan. perhaps we can’t slip away, but we can still be here — and be present with one another, perhaps you worry too much. ❜ he gently places his hand on ivans cheek and caresses him softly with his thumb, a dimpled smile pulled on his face as his eyes soften. ❛ be here with me, my love. ❜  

his eyes trail ivan as he walks off, a lovestruck grin resting on his features. he wished he could reach out, take his hand and ask his better half to stay but when the general called no one would dare ignore it. fedyor felt a surge of pride as he watched ivan, the generals second in command, head off to duty. alinas voice pulls him from his france and he gives a light hearted laugh. ❛ perhaps that is the magic in it. ❜ tilting his head slightly he locks eyes with her. ❛ i see the kindness, softness… everything beautiful within him, things he’d only confide in me, he’s truly an amazing man, a brilliant soldier… he’s funny, smart, talented, gentle — ah… ❜ he’d started to ramble. he clears his throat, he felt his cheeks beginning to flush. ❛ ah… i mean to say, i see everything others don’t. he’s quite magnificent, just … reserved towards others. don’t take offense to it. ❜
