The new kenshin anime news has brought up so many feelings from that first year after the news broke. I feel fucking terrible to be honest like it feels just as intense as though it happened yesterday. I went on twitter(i know, cesspool website) and left and right people were talking about it and its not like i even disagree with everything they're saying (it shouldnt be made, people shouldnt watch it, watsuki will rot in hell forever with those that support him etc) but i am just heartbroken again and again at how something that used to bring me so much joy to share with others is spoken about like this. Since 2017 i have been able to enjoy kenshin and even make new positive memories with others revolving around it but its just.. its hard right now. Especially with the guilt. I am mostly past the guilt of having loved kenshin and given watsuki money in the past because i couldnt have known, but i feel guilt in waves still at how i am unable to cut kenshin out of my heart.
