went on my first date tonight. was the weirdest feeling but felt so good to get out of my shell.

had a wonderful catch up with my friend today.

reminds me of the true people in my life. don't be afraid to reach out to your friends ESPECIALLY when going through heartbreak. they are always there for you to listen and talk to and you should always appreciate that.

the most beautiful sunrise i woke up to this morning.

absolutely love when the sun peaks out in the mornin, makes me truly see the good in life when feeling so stuck in my own.

i watched the movie 'life list' on netflix the other day and i have never had more of an eye opening moment in my life.

there was this particular scene that i made sure to write down. the main character asks "how did you know he was the one" and she answers "remember the 4 questions your mum reminded me of?" and then they proceed to list them and WOW! genuinely knowing i couldn't answer this for my ex anymore made me realise that no matter how much i miss him or want to get back with him, he isn't my person. so, i thought to share the questions today.
