When I am with you, there is nowhere else I’d rather be. And I am a person who always wants to be somewhere else.

I think I fall in love a little bit with anyone who shows me their soul. This world is so guarded and fearful. I appreciate rawness so much.

He wants me when he can’t have me. So I stopped giving myself to him, just so I could feel wanted.

We are all just broken bones trying to fit are way back into place, to something that once was but never will be exactly the same, again.

I should’ve paid more attention to the word; temporary. It was right in front of my face. I wrote it out along with it’s definition but never studied it as much as I should have. I never took more than a momentary glance at it, and it always rolled off my tongue too fast. It never lingered. I should’ve remembered it better. I should have recognized it and understood it more. I always wonder if that would’ve made it easier to accept. Maybe it tasted and sounded too bitter for me. Maybe I didn’t want to accept it, or maybe I always knew that my heart would feel as heavy as the word some day.

Sometimes things become so damaged that you can’t ever go back to them. It isn’t because you don’t want to but because you know things can’t ever be the same. You can’t love them the way you use to or look at them the way you did before. It’s more that you want the past back, not the future.

Please understand that self harm is very serious. You shouldn’t throw it around like it is nothing. You should NEVER take pictures of your scars and send them to someone with a message attached that reads, “I hope you enjoy this, it’s what you did to me.” They did not do that to you, I don’t care how mad they made you or how much they hurt you. You should never hold self harm over anyone’s head, it’s traumatizing for someone to believe they are responsible for the scars on someone else’s skin. It just upsets me, because I’ve been manipulated by so many people just because they told me it was my fault they cut. I allowed people to make me feel responsible for their self harm and control me because of it. It has taken a huge toll on me in the past and I want people to know that they are not responsible for other people’s actions. You can not please everyone or make everyone happy. Do not let people make you feel bad for your right to say no, breakup with them, cut them out of your life, or disagree with them. It’s just self harm is so serious and it just pisses me off when people throw it around like that. Half the time it’s people who do these things that make others not take it as crucial as it should be taken.
