Be persistent with your growth. A lot of people are in denial of their own flaws and dont take time to reevaluate their choices... One thing i love about myself is that i know my flaws from the emotional issues to procrastination, and at the end of the day i find pieces of myself that makes me better. Every moment i strive on staying centered, and reprogramming my mind. Its not easy, but I'm enjoying every second of learning self so i can be that woman i was born to express. Natural Hair Expressions: The Struggles of Having Inch Long Natural Hair It is a social, and psychological problem here in America where a natural black woman who wears their hair short gets the "examination test". Constantly,  I get the questioning look/even questions from many diverse people "is that a woman, or is she gay or she must be one of those naturalists or foreigners". My years of wearing my hair cracked up short (short relaxed hair) I've never been put in rotations of the interrogation room. I understand the current situation in America where men may disguise themselves like women and vice vera, but it the level of ignorance that pisses me off where a natural black woman with inch long has to be classified in such a manner. Either im a male, or a dike and if im neither im a naturalist or from the "islands". When did we get be so close minded, and judgmental couldn't I be just who I am...
