WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

"Why a tophat? The aquarium has those really cool shark-head hat thingies. And real sharks." There she ranted on again, letting her mouth mutter before the stopped and thought. It doesn't make any sense why a person would ditch school to go to an aquarium. "Actually, the mall sounds great. Sharks blow. Bus station's across the street..."

In response to the other girl’s question, she could only shrug. “I dunno about reptiles! I’m not scared of them or find them gross or anything, they’re just not my favorite. Why, do you like them?”

"Mmm, I'm fond of looking at reptiles. And bugs. Like the Picasso beetle, super pretty, but probably really creepy crawly-and stuff." She smiled, a bit nervous about her next question. "Do you think you could maybe take me to see the animals? They'll probably just go nuts and try to eat me, but it's worth a shot."

Finally fed up with the freshman girl blocking the door, Dell simply picked her up and moved her out of the way. He couldn’t find a reason to push her, he wasn’t at that point necessarily. “I’m goin’ inside.” He grunted, yanking the door open. 

Once he put her down, she stealthily slipped a pack of gum into his pocket. She read somewhere that in the past, people would stop chewing tobacco and start chewing gum. Close enough, right? She followed him back inside, still embodying her annoying self. "Smoking one or two boxes is pretty bad for your health, y'know..."

After bringing the guitar back up against her torso, she demonstrated exactly what she said. This time, with a bit more effort. Luka plucked and strummed, hoping the sounds would come together to create a peaceful tune. She soon stopped herself, face flushing in embarrassment. ”I’m not much an instrument person, I’m sorry!

The music came to an abrupt stop. She looked up at the girl confused--meeting a flushed face and sincere smile. Apologizing? 'Not much of an instrument person'? If anything, those were some pretty big fibs. Saying nothing, IA got up and walked over to the piano in the corner of the room. She'd played a couple of times-well, she sucked still-but knew basic notes and stuff. "I'm not much of a piano person," IA said smiling at her. "But maybe two 'negatives' make a positive?"

“So, my master,” she said mockingly while gesturing to the gates surrounding the school. “Where shall we go?”

Before depressing herself to much about animal hatred, she tuned back into Yukari's dialogue. Rabbits were really really sweet animals, yeah. Not as sweet as birds, but Yukari would probably ask her to prove it. Smiling, she responded in the safest green-zone way she knew. "Rabbits are one of my favorites, too. I always felt like their fur would be a bit annoying to maintain, though. What about other animals? Or a reptile? Reptiles are cool."

Glancing up to her with a purse on his lips from the anguish and embarrassment, the kindness eased him slightly as he took the offer. “..yeah. I’m fine. Don’t sweat it, really.” Clenching it firmly, he pushed up mainly, as so not to strain the other too much. Knowing his luck this would end with the girl falling over him. “It’s a bad re-occurrence, if you’re wondering..”

"Are we all on good terms with our feet and gravity now?" she asked, glancing up at the boy. There was a bit of dirt on his face--IA being careful to point out. 

Seconds passed and Dell became annoyed when the short girl didn’t move, and he let out a frustrated sigh. “Can ya move already?”

Probably going to regret her decision, IA crossed her arms and planted her legs in front of the door, stiff as a bug. He asked her to move, yet she only stiffened. "It's not inhumane for a person to care about another's well-being," she scolded. Now, she was slightly more curious about him--yet also worried. Smoking led to cancer, diseases, clogged, lungs, and pretty much death. It wasn't wrong to tell him off about this, or tell him the dangers at least. Or was it? "How many cigarettes do you smoke in a day?"
