it is easy to upgrade your equipment to get a better sound, but common sense would dictate that you first optimise your existing set-up and then see what upgrade is necessary
as an analogy, buy a sports car and fill poor fuel, don’t fill air or check oil and run it intermittently. once the pride of purchase goes, the performance deteriorates and tellingly so. no fault of the car, though. will buying a new car help?

1. you get an deeper knowledge of audio - how does the sound perform in my listening area
2. you get better sound
3. you start getting a baseline reference point from which any change can be made
next stops ... isolation, acoustics and speaker placement
