loooove characters that get angry

by no means am i a King lover but he seems a bit sweeter when you remember that the holiday star is meant for people who are already dead (and experiencing the afterlife properly??) and don't have errands to run tomorrow morning or anything. maybe people who were pretty miffed to be dead like the King, having their last experience in the afterlife be a good time and ceasing to be anything is pretty good actually. not good when you have errands to run tomorrow morning though. absorbing people's??? souls??? whatever the king does in that regard seems pretty bad tho he probably shouldn't be doing that

anyways i think having a fun time should be everyone on earth's only priority ever and everything would smoothen out nicely. i think. and even if it's wrong it's okay to say because it'll never happen

i am speaking from my own personal, lived, experience with myself that one of the biggest reasons people will argue tooth and nail for opinions that they may already know are wrong is because they have an automatic anger response to whatever the opposing topic is. luckily, mine is just in response to romance addicts and the heartbroken, and not like. politics.

on my mother's tamodachi life ltd island, through the power of age-o-matic fuckery, i have just married my daughter's husband's twin brother. my granddaughter is my niece and my daughter is my sister-in-law. because there are three versions of my mother on this island and two of them are married with kids, i have managed to be technically related to about ⅓ of the island. this is. horrendous

something i really love about hatoful boyfriend (at least the first game) is that nothing is particularly. unusual? like we play hiyoko's 2nd year in st. pigeonations, so she's not unfamiliar with the school, she was already aware of most of the other characters and had her own opinions on them before the game takes place. a lot of smaller things are just. talked about in casual conversation between characters, the only person who everything is entirely unfamiliar to, is someone playing the game for the first time!!! and for that player things are VERY unfamiliar (birds everywhere). i really like that. i think games where you have to explore a new unfamiliar place WITH the character you play as are cool, but inserting my own consciousness into an already existing person who already has a life and thoughts and beliefs about their setting is way cooler.
