i cant believe that ac direct actually might resurrect this blog... we never did get rugs outdoors, elf ears/fangs, or better dialogue though...

i am forever sad nh leaned more into being a decorating game than a game abt friendship :( i dont care abt decorating, i liked the villager dialogue, its why ww is my fave ac game. every new update that's just more furniture or bland villagers shovelled in makes me feel sad at this point

*puts on tinfoil hat* they absolutely knew they had nothing special planned for the anniversary update so they decided to give us more design slots then bc they knew we'd eat that shit up & wouldnt complain as much. we've been asking for more design slots since the game was released & haven't gotten it till now, why? it seems deliberately placed here, bc otherwise the anniversary update is just the same as any other update recently. worse even cuz at least that event shit was free, this is just trying to get us to buy amiibo cards for more furniture & villagers that look cute but are awful to talk to... kind of funny cuz it's a nice summarization of new horizons imo

this blog has been very dead, sorry to all 28 of my followers (ik im very famous). i havent played new horizons since august, frankly. theres two major things stopping me; the villager dialogue, the forgettable music, & how overwhelming it feels to be responsible for how literally an entire island looks. not being able to move the service center is the worst, my resident service center is legit like... what, 20 tiles & 5 tiles to the right away from the airport? & i cant move it, so its impossible to make look good, & i am not resetting & losing 200 hrs, & ofc ur entire island kinda revolves around that area, so if that doesnt look good, you're screwed, frankly. theres also the issue of it being v difficult to get the colour furniture u want without the online... i digress, nh can plop in updates of features that have been in previous games all they want, but till they fix the dialogue, which is my main issue, ive rlly lost interest. which is sad, i was expecting nh to be the best game i played this yr, but botw swooped in & took that crown & it wasnt even close! & i dont even like the zelda franchise! o_O as for wild world, i love ww, but its not a modern day game, its a teeny tiny ds game from the early 2000s, natural progression of gaming franchises since then means it cant hold your interest to the same degree... very saddened by this, do i really have to wait 3 whole yrs till nh's is playable? :/

the update video refuses to upload here... but the update looks pretty good! nice that they listened to fans about the hair, kinda wish they did more tho (fingers crossed for jan update having more?), but i doubt im ever gonna be interested in new horizons much anymore unless they update the dialogue a LOT bc rn its just, very bad...
