Wonderland || Haliver
Oliver looked up when he felt his arm being tugged and followed her to where she wanted to go. He was excited to see it was Peter Pan, who he wanted to have a photo with as well. He had seen clips of him on youtube, people meeting him and talking to him. The actor behind him was a really great actor. Oliver took out the camera while she posed with the guy and took the picture of the two of them. He smiled up at her when she came back. “Yes, I do.” He said cheerfully as he got up to Peter’s side, who greeted him happily and proceeded to tug at his curls and ask questions of how he made it so fluffy. After agreeing with Peter that Hazel really did look like a princess, the Disney character got beside Oliver and threw his arm over his shoulder smiling brightly to the camera and Hazel. “See, I told you you’re a princess.” He teased and bopped her nose playfully before turning his attention to two little girls who had approached for a picture with him.
Oliver walked back to Hazel, and slipped his hand into hers again and giving it a soft squeeze. So far they had been able to walk around without fans spotting them - if the guy dressed as Peter Pan was a fan or not, he had no idea. He’d read somewhere they weren’t allowed to go out of their role, and he doubted Peter Pan would know who he was. “I was always so gutted they didn’t have a part of this park dedicated to 101 Dalmatians, or the Jungle Book. You can only find a couple of stuffed animals or something from those movies, it’s a little bit sad.” He said honestly and looked around thoughtfully, trying to find out where he wanted to go next. He was content just walking around with Hazel, though. He liked her company a lot, and he liked just having her next to him and being able to spend the day with her. He missed it. “Hey, look. It’s Cinderella.” He stopped and pointed to the Princess not too far from them taking a picture with a little girl dressed in the same dress as her.
Hazel smiled at Oliver brightly as she waited for him to get to Peter’s side. She loved taking pictures even though she didn’t take them very often with other people around as she waited for them both to get ready as she smiled even wider at the fact that Oliver was mostly hers today. She took a couple of pictures. Feeling him bop her nose she giggled as she shook her head. “I don’t have a tiara silly. I can’t be a princess without that.” Although she could never see herself as a princess mostly because of how she was raised. She was raised to believe that she was nothing more than Cinderella with no savior in hope instead. She didn’t mind that since she was always scared of saying no, of having people leave her. She never wanted that and times like this she wondered if it was a realistic fear anymore. Oliver would never leave her. At least she hoped. She didn’t want him to leave her. But she would understand if he wanted to since she wasn’t that special, or at least as special as Oliver made her out to be. Looking over she saw two little girls who seemed to know who Oliver was as she tugged lightly on his hand and kissed his cheek. “I’ll wait over there.” She said softly. When she saw Oliver interact with kids she always smiled because he looked so at home. She would love to have kids with Oliver at some point in her life as she giggled at how at home he looked.
She took his hand once he was done and she squeezed back. So far it wasn’t too bad with fans noticing him, which she was grateful for. “I know! That’s really sad.” She frowned as she sighed. “But I guess the park can’t hold everything.” She shook her head and smiled at him wistfully. “We should buy a couple of stuffed animals from the books though!” She said wondering if that would at least help Disney’s sales. She looked at him when he pointed out Cinderella as she smiled excitedly. “Lets go get a picture!” She said as she practically ran over to Cinderella with him as she wanted a picture now. She felt bad for dragging him around but she was so excited to see more Disney character’s as she suddenly felt shy. Where were her manners? She walked up to Cinderella hesitantly as she smiled at her. “May I have a picture with you?” She asked timidly afraid she would say no for some reason. Maybe because she was someone Hazel had read a million times in her childhood and she had her happily ever after now with Oliver. She smiled in relief as Cinderella said of course as she posed next to her and she waited for Oliver to take the picture.Â
