I think something people should keep in mind is that Charlie has always had to not listen to people and keep pushing to make progress. Everyone said she’d never stop the exterminations, everyone said sinners could never be helped or redeemed, everyone said Angel was a hopeless case, everyone said Pentious was worthless and should be killed, everyone said the angels would never listen to her, everyone said she was a joke, a clown, and her dreams were baseless and a fool’s errand, and it’s her fault for believing in people. That doesn’t mean every time she hasn’t listened to someone and stopped it’s okay, but there’s reasons she’s developed this behavior
