…sighh shakuyaku….yukarin…

okay so, when she was made around like 2022, she was made solely for shipping and she was actually just another version of another self-insert OC of mine… imagine like a Jojo version of said original character.

as mentioned before i initially made Shakuyaku solely for shipping with either Kakyoin or Hazamada. but then she just started to be her own character. i don’t remember exactly but i just got more interested in drawing her (albeit only being shipped before) and slowly began to change her like “i think this hairstyle fits her better”, “her uniform is too simple what if i change it”. then a lot of anime or manga i watched/read slowly made me begin thinking more in her… i saw a concept i like? made me wonder how could i apply for her. in fact for example she’s a dandere because i thought in her everytime i saw Sakaki when i was reading/watching Azumanga Daioh…

perhaps not only anime or manga but also the life experiences i had, good or bad, also served to shape her character too… after all she might be her own character she is still my reflection… either if realistically in some aspects or idealized in other aspects…

i think i just started to find comfort in her and this worked as a reason to develop her more.
