the response made andi’s heart flutter. it wasn't what she was expecting. “so i’m one of the girls that you like the very best?” she was crushing on robin pretty hard and it was nice to know that the feeling was mutual. she was more than used to experiencing one-sided affection. that was usually what she was the recipient of. this was a nice change. “how did i get so lucky?” she leaned in closer to robin as she started to twirl a lock of her platinum blonde hair around her finger. this was a little overwhelming to her. “i like you too. i could get used to this.”

    andi   wouldn’t   come   to   just   anyone.   THERE   WAS   A   REASON   SHE   CHOSE   JAMIE   TO   GUIDE   HER   THROUGH   THIS.   it   wasn’t   just   coincidental   or   because   she   knew   the   other   girl   had   experience.   it   was   because   she   liked   her.   A   LOT.   she’d   had   a   crush   on   jamie   since   they   day   they’d   met   in   the   park   during   community   service.   she   loves   the   other   girls   company   and   she’s   definitely   crushing   on   her   just   as   hard.   andi   never   thought   she’d   be   the   type   to   come   to   someone   to   ask   about   having   sex   and   her   cheeks   were   bright   and   rosy   from   her   own   blushing.   jamie   made   it   easy,   she   didn’t   judge   her   or   make   her   feel   stupid   for   being   a   virgin.   she   felt   safe   with   her.   she   does   worry   that   her   friend   might   say   no   when   it   takes   her   so   long   to   answer.   andi   wonders   how   she’d   ever   recover   from   that   if   she   did.   she   knew   she’d   still   want   to   be   her   friend   -   jamie   was   her   best   friend   -   if   that   was   still   an   option.   finally   she   speaks   and   andi   feels   her   own   heart   beat   pounding   away   so   fast   that   she’s   surprised   she   doesn’t   faint.   at   the   question   that   was   asked   of   her   she   found   herself   nodding   her   head   almost   frantically.   “yes.   i’m   sure.   i’ve   never   been   more   sure   of   anything.”   she   feels   she   should   add   more.   “and   it’s   not   just   about   the   sex…i   really   like   you.”   the   last   time   she’d   REALLY   LIKED   A   GIRL   she’d   attempted   to   kiss   her.   sadly   for   her   that   girl   had   belonged   to   the   leader   of   the   gang   she’d   gotten   herself   mixed   in   with.   he   had   no   shame   in   hitting   a   woman   and   he’d   given   andi   a   real   shiner   of   a   black   eye.   that   was   right   before   she   was   shipped   off   to   hawkins   for   trying   to   redeem   herself   committing   crime   and   getting   caught.   “please   will   you   show   me…just   be   patient   with   me.”   she   licked   her   lips   nervously   and   leaned   in   a   little   close.   “i’ve   only   kissed   one   girl…"   she’d  done   some   stuff   for   guys   but   other   than   that   she   was   completely   clueless.

"stupid as fuck. i feel like an asshole having to work there." money was money. she had none and she needed it. stealing was her normal go to but now that she was eighteen she didn't want to go to jail. community service had never bothered her much, however, the thought of actual time in the slammer did. "dude, it's …like… so stupid. your family video uniform is cool as hell compared to this." she rolled her eyes. "ugly colors combined with the dumb sounding name of the store embroidered right on it." what a first job. "hinky fucking dinky."

“so   hypothetically   speaking.”   at   first   she   was   way   more   interested   in   playing   with   the   laces   on   her   combat   boots   than   she   really   was   invested   in   the   conversation.   finally   andi   got   bored   of   that   as   well   and   looked   up.   “does   that   mean   i’m   morally   obligated   to   tell   someone   if   they   are   doing   something   horrendously   stupid?”   people   did   stupid   things   every   damn   day   and   if   it   didn’t   effect   her   directly   she   was   content   to   just   walk   on   by.   “or   is   it   better   to   just   let   natural   selection   take   it’s   course?”   now   she   was   engaged   in   the   conversation   because   there   was   nothing   else   to   distract   her.   it   was   also   a   valid   concern.   well   at   least   to   andi   it   was.   "because   natural   selection   is   like   the   stupidity   police.   it's   gonna   catch   them   all   in   the   end,   right?"   still   there   was   another   option.   “but   sometimes   i   think   the   beatles   just   had   it   right,   ya   know?   whispered   words   of   wisdom   let   it   be.”   she   was   also   high   as   a   kite   and   was   going   to   have   to   pretend   she   wasn’t   when   her   grandfather   came   to   pick   her   up.   unless   she   ditched   him.   she’d   pay   for   it   later   but.   it   might   be   better   that   way.
