Hi guys, sorry I've been so inactive, I've had college and family issues, but I'm back now :)

“Yeah, but any random human could do that, I guess. Hmm, the people are okay I guess, but I just don’t feel like I fit in as a normal human. Heh. So anyway? Billionaire, huh? What kind of billionaire are you - the cool type or the throw-money-at-any-problem type?”

“I…don’t know? Since I lived in the dojo for a long time, I don’t try to use money to solve my problems…”

“Oh, okay, awesome. What’s it like, living in a dojo? I’ve never even left America!”

“The dojo…man, it was tough. Sensei Lei Kung didn’t cut me any slack because my dad had been Lord Yuan’s adopted son. We all had to practice and then learn the philosophy and a hundred other things. Now, looking back on it…I’m kind of glad he pushed us so hard, considering what we were all training for.”

“Wow, it sounds tough. I’ve never really had any formal training - I mean, I taught myself to shoot down the range and us Young Avengers just kinda help each other. That’s actually why I’m here - to get some actual help with my fighting. I think it’ll do me good. What were you training for?”

“Then I’m impressed that you pushed yourself so hard! And what we were training for? To slay a dragon.”

"Thanks! I'm impressed you survived in the dojo, I tried karate once and gave up after about a week! A dragon? You're kidding!"

Marie bit her tongue when Katherine tried to relate. She didn’t want to spill all her secrets to the girl, and freak her out. So she smiled instead. “I know how you feel. I used to be really mean to people, but I guess age has softened me a bit.” Katherine seemed almost distressed when Marie had mentioned Clint not being a good rolemodel. “Well, I don’t know…he just plays a lot of pranks. I think he set a tree on fire when he got here? I also think he put a bunch of furbies in Director Fury’s office.” After stating that, she realized those were all of Wade’s memories, not hers. She grimaced at the thought, but quickly cast it away.

Kate smiled. "I guess a lot of people use snark to cover up insecurities, huh?" Her smile got even broader when she heard of Clint's pranks. She found it adorable, truth be told, and had to stop herself from squeeing. "Furbies? Ew, how did he even think of that?" she added with a laugh. Seeing the other girl's grimace, Kate worried she was being annoying with her Clint obsession, and tried to change the subject. "So what classes are you doing?"

“Hi Danny, I’m Kate Bishop. So what brings you to this school for talented freaks or whatever?”

“Nice to meet you, Kate. I moved here from China, and I guess I’m here because…I can punch through solid rock? The pamphlet made this place sound okay, I guess.”

“Ha, that’s pretty awesome. I don’t really have powers, but I’m a damn good shot (even if I do say so myself) and pretty handy with a knife. This place hasn’t really lived up to expectations yet, though.”

“That’s pretty impressive, actually. Really, though? I’ve met some pretty cool people here already.”

“I probably am, but it’s always weird when I get into relationships.” Because if they touch me, I suck out their life force, gain all their memories, and powers if they have any. “His name is Wade. I wouldn’t reccomend hanging around him, he’s kind of an ass.” She smiled at Katherine. “I’ll keep that in mind, though. You seem really…nice. I’m not used to that.” Marie listened to the other girl talk about Clint, and she could see she was trying to contain her excitement. She chuckled to herself, and replied, “I don’t think that’s pathetic. He’s an alright guy. I haven’t seen him as much of a rolemodel, but at least you do.”

"I've been there, girl," said Kate, utterly oblivious to the fact Marie was talking about much more than simple 'guy problems', and had a brief memory of her kiss with Eli but quickly shoved it away. She'd promised herself that college was the time to make friends outside of the YA, although she did miss them dearly. Especially Eli. "I'm not usually this nice, I don't know what's come over me!" she added with a raucous laugh. Worried that Marie didn't seem to be too keen on Clint, and completely oblivious to any faults he might have herself, she added worriedly; "Oh yeah? Is there anything bad about him I should know about?"

“There’s not much to talk about.” Marie admitted, kind of sadly. “He was just gone all the time, and felt it would be best if we broke up. ” Saying that made her eyes burn, but she didn’t want to cry again. She took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly. “I should be okay soon.” She smiled back. “I can help you find the office, though. That’s not a problem.” She paused. “But you’re an archer? I think we have another one here…um…Clint. Do you know him?”

"Aawh, well that does kinda sound like you're better off without him. What was his name, if you don't mind me asking?" Kate said, before she could process that it was probably best to change the subject as Marie looked almost as if she was going to cry again. "I know you don't know me that well but you can always talk to me if you need it," she added with a smile. "Thanks! And um, yeah, I'm kind of based on him? That sounds so pathetic, but like, I'm in the Young Avengers and I'm kind of the Hawkeye..." she giggled awkwardly. Don't mention the Hawkeye posters, don't mention your Lego Hawkeye, and most definitely do not mention the scrapbook of Hawkeye newspaper cuttings!

Otto was sat reading at one of the benches in the Café area in campus. It had been a long day building, he’d successfully gotten out of simple mechanics when he did his end of term project in a day, and so had given himself some free time. He was sipping his coffee and so engrossed in his book that he did not notice someone coming up to him.

Kate noticed the studious looking guy and decided she was in a sociable mood, so approached him. "Hi!" she said. "What're you reading?"

“Hi Danny, I’m Kate Bishop. So what brings you to this school for talented freaks or whatever?”

“Nice to meet you, Kate. I moved here from China, and I guess I’m here because…I can punch through solid rock? The pamphlet made this place sound okay, I guess.”

"Ha, that's pretty awesome. I don't really have powers, but I'm a damn good shot (even if I do say so myself) and pretty handy with a knife. This place hasn't really lived up to expectations yet, though."

Marie played with her hair as they walked. “I mean, I just got dumped, but…I’ll be okay. No big deal.” Way to play it cool, Marie. Of course, at this moment, she wasn’t really feeling weepy anymore; although that was probably because Katherine was there, and not because she magically got unsad. She cleared her throat though, and changed the subject. “Yeah, this place is pretty big. You get used to it though. There’s a whole lot of shortcuts to places too, but when you go searching for them before you know where you’re going, you’re gonna end up lost.” She laughed lightly. “So, where do you need to get to?”

Stepping slightly behind Marie so as to make sure she didn't end up going the wrong way, Kate said, "Awh, really? Wanna talk about it?" Of course she doesn't, she's upset and you're new! Cheesus, Kate! Pleased to see the other girl cheer up a little in her demeanor, and flattering herself to think it was partly down to her, Kate flashed a sincere smile. "I'm terrible at directions. You'd think as an archer I could remember that kind of stuff! I'm heading towards the main office, I guess. I need to find a dorm."
