while planning their trip to alola blue insisted to kukui that he’d rent them a place with one bedroom. when they got there blue pulled the “oops im so stupid! how could i forget to rent two bedrooms! im so silly.. guess we’re stuck now!” card

and it def worked blue woke up to red hugging him in his sleep more times than he can remember

back in their rgb days , after red became champion, blue was always talking about him when he had the chance. i mean every tabloid was filled with some absolute nonsense blue was saying about him. red absolutely hated the attention he got so he did the only logical thing and isolated himself on a mountain for 10 years and only came back when aforementioned rival convinced him to, you know, as one does 😊

obviously blue was subconsciously super heartbroken that his, again, (sub)conscious crush left him practically

so OBVIOUSLY blue tried climbing mount silver to apologise but his adolescent pea brain made him think he looked obsessed (dude you already are???visibly???in love???)
