A concept for a cover!! My biggest dream is to have my fic bound into a book once it's done, and I'd like to think it'd look like this :D

It's based off of the visuals of the DSM-IV instead of the DSM-5 because in 2005, the DSM-IV-TR was the most current version and I wanted to make it period accurate! I also simplified it way down so it'd read clearly as a fic cover and not just a vandalized edition of the DSM-IV, while still looking like a book that Lily doodled on :D

I love how this is very much from Lily’s flawed and idealistic point of view, she’s clearly idolizing Rose’s help here and like another reblog pointed out, I LOVE the blue glow mirroring in Lily’s eyes :D I may be reading too much into it but the fact that Lily has color detail beyond just Blue implies that this depiction of Rose is a projection, an idea of who Lily wants her to be for her :3

Also, happy ending eventually >:)

A fun idea I had stewing for a bit! The Prototype is mimicking Candy's voice so ofc Lily is crazy enough to think the bodyless toy is spitting rude facts and she's boutta give it a stern lecture. It's definitely a source of the Prototype's amusement and not because he's distracting her from her sadness at all
