Let’s talk about the class and the Miraculouses for a second.

Marinette and Adrien are obvious. Ladybug and Chat. The yin and yang that holds the entire group together.

Alya was meant for the Fox. She’s all about discovering and revealing the truth, which is basically the polar opposite of Trixx and the Fox miraculous. Another wonderful example of yin and yang.

Nino really is the Turtle. A bystander who won’t actively be the first to jump into battle, but won’t hesitate to cut a bitch if someone threatens or hurts his friends (Bubbler, Anasi, etc). Wayzz and the Turtle are there to defend, not be offense, and that’s exactly how Nino is too.

Say what you will about Chloe but she IS Queen Bee. The color scheme, the fact that she has worked drones constantly following her (Sabrina) and if anyone is going to be called “my queen” by Pollen, it fits Chloe perfectly. She’s already Daddy’s Little Princess but she is the Miraculous Queen. I personally have a feeling that we will get her REAL redemption arc once she hits complete rock bottom and has nothing else to lose.

Now on to the zodiac Miraculouses.

We all knew Alex was/is getting the Rabbit. Her whole thing is small and speedy. She’s almost never shown without her blades or a hint to her blades, and if we’re going with the Time aspect, she comes from a family of archeologists - people who “travel” in time for a living!

Kim... well. Kim definitely reminds me of the Monkey King stories and it doesn’t hurt that he’s (like Marinette) half Chinese which helps allude to the myth. Plus, the boy already moves like a monkey so...

Max and the Horse are still baffling to me. When I think of Horses and traits that are associated with them, I don’t think of portals or technology (unless you count cars and horsepower which I don’t). So Max is... eh for me.

Ivan as the Ox. Do I really need to spell it out? Big brute of an animal, normally associated with strength and power and a bit of clumsiness. That’s Ivan to a T.

Mylene as the mouse. Again, another no brained. Mylene is as meek as a mouse, and in the original zodiac myth (fruit basket fans unite) the rat rode on the ox/cow’s head to be considered first in the king’s banquet! So the ox and mouse are clearly partners in the same way Ladybug and Chat are.

Okay, Juleka... why did they give her the Tiger? Other than a random streak in her hair that could represent a tiger’s stripes, she doesn’t scream Tiger to me. But again, I’ll hold off judgment.

Haven’t seen what Nathaniel is getting yet, but from Process of Elimination it’s either the Dog, Rooster, or the Sheep. Based on his hair alone I’m feeling Rooster. Especially because:

I want Sabrina to get the Dog. She’s fiercely loyal even to a fault (Chloe), she’s kind of a secondary bully (some breeds of dogs get a bad rep), and on top of all that, what animal do you think of when you think police? Dogs! I think she’ll get the dog.

Which leaves us with the sheep. Assuming Lila never gets her hands legitimately on a Miraculous, we’ve run out of classmates. Which puts us in a bit of a predicament. So, if we branch out a bit, there’s still Marc (who IS in the season 4 opening) and Wayhem (much much much less likely). I’m predicting Marc.

Okay so Marinette is year of the snake which means her birth year is either 2001 or 2013... this makes her (assuming miraculous takes place in our current time line) either 18 or 6.
